Loud cell-phone talker removed from quiet car by police

A woman who was escorted off an Amtrak train by police this weekend after she allegedly refused to stop talking loudly on her cell-phone has the Internet cheering her fate.
Civilians and quiet-car champions are supporting her ejection for violating policy at high volume during the 16-hour journey. It doesn't help her cause that she became belligerent when confronted about it by one of her fellow passengers.
KOMO News reports that Lakeysha Beard says she felt "disrespected" by the incident, though passengers said it was Beard who was being rude by refusing to stop yapping while sitting in one of the train's designated quiet cars.

Seriously, though, the news has become full of these stories about people who have no concept of any social contract to behave in public.

Oh, I see. So yapping loudly on a phone in a designated quiet car it isn't disrespectful to the people who paid for the quiet car, but throwing her loud ass out of the car for not following the one simple rule is disrespectful to her.
At least she hasn't cried racism ... yet...

Eh, anyone dumb enough to buy a Amtrak ticket to spend 24 miserable hours going from LA to Portland deserves this kind of experience. It will teach them that it’s much better to spend 5 minutes being groped by a homo TSA agent and 2 hours of flying time packed in like sardines. Plus it’s much cheaper to fly so there! Thank God we can still drive our cars, for now.

Actually, I kinda enjoy traveling by train.
The “Keystone” from NYC to Pittsburgh through Horseshoe Curve and the Zephyr through the Rockies are unforgettable rides.
The food in the dining cars is primo, too.
