Ok, summary for those of you who don't want to or can't watch the video: eight-year New Mexico veteran cop Burt Lopez took a chick out to some private property for a quick triple-x throw-down. They thought they were only being watched by a chihuahua, but the whole thing was caught on tape and the rest, as they say in my country, is history.
And for the rest of his life, Burt Lopez will be peeling stickers off his car that read "To Protect and Service". And all acts of cop sex shall henceforth be known as getting Burt Lopezed.
There is an investigation ongoing, Officer Lopez has not been charged because you can't indecently expose yourself to a camera (yeah, that standard applies to civilians, we're sure) and the owner isn't calling trespassing shenanigans; right now, no department in making any comments.

They don’t have a “conduct unbecoming” clause in the NM Police Department rules of conduct or anything?
>>And there you have it, folks - no charges, but if you or I did it... <<
Did what? Have consensual sex on private property? Bad form but I have never heard of anyone being accused of trespassing based on a video ex pos factos. If you or I did the video would have ended up at a bachelor party and that would be the end of it.
The ratio of sane to stupid people is getting a bit low.
Unions.
Whether teacher, Amtrak, UAW, SEIU or Leos- they are the same.
We have a government class and a peon class and don’t you forget it.
Government at all levels needs to be pared back and their power over us greatly reduced.
Now that we have 350+ million citizens why can we not find enough people of character like the founders?
This TV showing only shows distant pictures. Further it describes the 'flagrante', Officer Lopez blah blah blah, and then followed by a district attorney "Garcia" who said nothing illegal apparently happened, even though the behavior was reprehensible blah blah blah....BS.
I got pulled because I got mad and cursed, justifiably in my opinion. Had this been my daughter coerced into this, I'd have drilled him, then - or later. Some here might say why do I say government is your enemy. In my opinion, the complete story of this debacle is the reason.
Apparently not so much private property.
Protecting the cops while serving the wenches.
Cops, can’t live with ‘em, can’t live withou.... wait a minute. Yes, we easily can (at least in the current form).
Cops don’t even work to PREVENT (you know basics like patrolling, investigating to find before they strike again, keeping an eye out for unknown faces in neighborhoods past certain hours) robberies or respond to them anymore, they just come after the fact and fill out a report for your insurance company... especially in well to do towns.
How about mischarging his time? Conduct unbecoming? Not at his assigned post or patrol? Not doing his job?
All I can say now is that one ‘better be packing’ if laws allow...Heck...even if laws don’t allow.
It was public property. He was in uniform. re-read or see further articles.
yeah I wish I could in NYC— I live in Manhattan so that’s a dream.
No Joke ...they actually made this cop chief of the Key West Police Department ... they have another queen there now ... and the State Attorney Dennis Ward is another waste of skin ... won't ever prosecute a cop or their family
Its Okay For a Cop (the New Key West Police Chief) To Have sex With a Minor (17 yr old boy) in a patrol car and at his home

Key West PD
In June 1984, the Key West Police Department in Monroe County, Florida was declared a criminal enterprise under the Federal RICO statutes after a lengthy United States Department of Justice investigation. Several high-ranking officers of the department, including Deputy Police Chief Raymond Cassamayor, were arrested on federal charges of running a protection racket for illegal cocaine smugglers. At trial, a witness testified he routinely delivered bags of cocaine to the Deputy Chief's office at City Hall.

Sure looked like it was in public. Not sure private property counts when you’re fully visible.
Drudge is saying no charges will be filed.
He was obviously conducting a body cavity search using his other nightstick...
Another article said he was named “Officer of the Year” 2010.
As voted by the women of the district.
