This is your life under ObamaCare
Fox News ^ | July 03, 2012 | Dr. Marc Siegel

Like all practicing physicians (and medical correspondents), I was glued to the news last Thursday morning at 10 am ET when the US Supreme Court via some questionable fancy legal footwork allowed ObamaCare to survive. Like many of my medical brethren, I was deeply disappointed by the outcome.

You, the patient, will have to get used to less access to real health care solutions, fewer approvals for the very latest, personalized, genetic-based cancer treatment or surgical technology that could save your life.

ObamaCare will cause your premiums to soar. ObamaCare promises to increase your access to health care but it may actually decrease it because your doctor will no longer have as much time for you. The growing numbers of insured will have difficulty finding a doctor. The current doctor shortage will be compounded by all the doctors who restrict the insurances they accept, beginning with Medicaid and Medicare.

Earlier this month the Doctor Patient Medical Association released a survey of doctors that showed that 90% believe that the health care system is on the wrong track.

...and it won’t just be current docs getting out of the business: it will limit the number of young people who choose medicine when in college.

The Medicare anchor to this...really marginalizes profit for a doctor. It was bad enough when you had the older generation in this situation....but if you include all of the poverty folks within the same group....say another twenty million Americans, then the profit side of health care is not worth discussing. You could do just as well....running an Irish pub out in Boise, Idaho....than being a doctor.

People are going to find out that hard way that health coverage and health care are two completely different things and one doesn’t necessary lead to the other.

Plus all this.
WAKE UP AMERICA

The Ten Planks of Karl Marx’s Communist Manifesto (and How Democrats Implement Them)

Abolition of private property rights (via eminent domain, zoning laws and UN Agenda 21)

Institution of a heavily graduated income tax (by calling it “taxing the rich”)

Abolition of all rights of inheritance (through a confiscatory estate tax on “the rich”)

Confiscation of the property of enemies of the state (through lawless application of asset forfeiture)

Centralization of credit into the hands of the state (Federal Reserve, bailouts of crony-capitalists, FTC, etc.)

Centralization of the means of communications and transportation into the hands of the state (FCC, DOT, FEMA, etc.).

Consolidation and subjugation of all major industries to central government control (EPA, OSHA, ICC, etc.)

Mandatory labor union membership (public-sector unions, automatic withholding of union dues, “card check,” etc.)

Equitable redistribution of all wealth (TANF, SSI, EITC, SNAP, etc.)

Free public education (and food and health care and cell phones and Internet access, etc.

Thanks for the ping.

It’s now more imperative than ever to kick the communists out of the Congress and the BathHouse. This is the ONLY PEACEFUL way to save the Republic, IF we are ALLOWED a free election.

nobamacare = Stay Healthy or Die.

Who in their right mind would put forth the many years of training and costs to become a Doctor-of-the-State?

CommieCare goes way beyond young people not choosing to go to medical school. It will restrict the number of doctors who enter specialties. They won’t just not choose to go, they will be forbidden to go.

Because if there are too many specialists the cost of medicine goes up and if there are fewer doctors the cost of helath care will go down. According to the Pelosis and Obamas of the world.

Amen! This is nothing more than a way to redistribute the wealth, which is exactly what he said he wanted to do.

I can see them importing doctors from every country on the planet. With each doctored guaranteed a certain pay if he stays for so many years. It’s probably already in the works. They’re all in training at the VA.

This is nothing but death care and will not benefit a single American citizen.

The only folks who will benefit will be the hords of illegals coming across the border demanding a sacrifice of our livelihoods to benefit them in the moment and that moment will only last as long as their are Americans labouring to pay for it.

Not only will it restrict medical students, it will select by ethnicity, gender and maybe even political persuasion. Remember that little takeover of the student loan industry? America’s chickens are coming home to roost indeed.

“The current doctor shortage will be compounded by all the doctors who restrict the insurances they accept, beginning with Medicaid and Medicare.”

That won’t be a problem. One of the first “improvements” to Obamacare will be a “tax” on doctors that refuse to accept Medicaid and Medicare patients.

Chief Roberts has given them the formula they need to create “constitution” laws to deal with all these problems and they’ll take full advantage off it.

Heck even those Catholics won’t have a leg to stand on if the congress just decides to tax them for not offering contraceptive coverage. After all, it’s not a penalty, it’s just another tax, so it’s not infringing on their 1st amendment rights./sarc

The ‘best and brightest’ will stop going into medicine because the government will be the primary decision maker.

Fewer people will go into medicine - standards for ‘doctors’ will be dumbed down.

What a doctor use to do, a nurse will do, then a clerk with 12 months ‘training’. Because deaths will rise, the government will not allow the system to be sued.

Medical care as we know it, will cease to exist. Members of the middle class and lower classes will watch their loved ones die under the new system. Children who would have lived before - will not under the new health 'five-year plan...' Same with the elderly or those with heart conditions - the 'new' plan means death.

Liberal elites will opt out - pay whatever penalty or buy the 'insurance' but not use it. They'll enjoy medical care using boutique doctors'. Liberal elites will have the very best medical care - doctors with small practices and private care. The best doctors will NOT accept any government 'help' - and elites will allow them that freedom as a 'perk' for treating 'friends' of party members.

Party big wigs - those who pushed the nightmare on the rest of us - will use boutique doctors - they and their families will do very well. Connections to party members will matter - corruption will flourish... Same as it was in Russia under Stalin and China under various thugs. This system's been tried... it's known.

Other citizens - those not connected to the political elites will face a brave new world - anyone for a soma?

“Party big wigs - those who pushed the nightmare on the rest of us - will use boutique doctors - they and their families will do very well.”

It is sad how the elites of the German Nazi Party and Russia/China Communist parties are just like the members of the republicrat oligarchy ruling America now.

Borrowing your graphic for this Commiecare factoid:

The Association of America Medical Colleges reported that, beginning in 2015, physician shortages will be "50 percent worse than originally anticipated prior to health care reform."

We will need anywhere from 90,000 to 200,000 more doctors by 2020 to satisfy the demands of Obamacare. Couple that with the fact that 45 percent of doctors said they "would consider leaving their practice or taking an early retirement," according to an IBD/TIPP poll, and it is a worrisome picture indeed.
