"Zombie" attacks continue: Naked man arrested after biting Fla. man
Despite assurances from the CDC that zombies do not, in fact, exist, strange things keep happening in Florida.
The Center for Disease Control says we have no reason to fear a zombie virus. But that hasn't stopped a series of strange events, including one in which Rudy Eugene brutally attacked a homeless man, biting off chunks of his face.
Perhaps 22-year-old Jeremiah Haughee found Eugene to be an inspirational figure.
That's our best guess for why he was climbed naked onto the roof of a St. Augustine, Fla., home, bit a cop and the homeowner, and urinated all over himself and the home's front porch.
According to the Florida Times-Union, police responded to a call from the homeowner at 4:30 Saturday morning, complaining that Haughee was destroying their lawn furniture and had jumped off their roof onto the hood of their truck.
The police report said Haughee tackled the two men who came out of their house, looking for the cause of the racket, biting one of them in the stomach as they tried to hold him down for the cops.
"It took five officers with two sets of handcuffs, leg shackles, a spit-prevention hood and Taser strikes to control Haughee," the Times-Union reports. "Three officers were kicked, hit or bitten during the arrest. Haughee was taken to Flagler Hospital and anesthetized to calm him down, then jailed."
The police had no answer for what caused Jeremiah Haughee to go nuts (he was released Sunday on bail).
Maybe the CDC has it wrong after all.

THe initial Zombie attacks were attributed to drug use. A popular street drug that physically resembles bath salts (but are chemically more unpredictable than meth) has been associated with people hallucinating, becoming violent, and do to soaring body temperature, stripping off their clothes. Of course...this could just be a zombie cover story...

“Organize Before They Rise”. Remember always use hollow points and go for the head shot to put them down permanently. Travel light, quiet and fast. Stay out of heavily populated urban areas and don’t travel with stupid people.

Toxicology reports indicate that the face eating zombie was NOT on any drugs. Including bath salts...
There is a new drug 25I that has no reliable drug test developed as of yet. We’ve gotten some folks into our ICU that had exhibited similar symptoms...that is stripping down naked, violent psychosis, extreme hyperventive strength exhibited when taking on 5-6 cops at a time. We haven’t seen flesh eating yet.
The symptoms remind me of the demon possessed man I read about in the Bible who took on a group of supposed “exorcists”( 7 sons of Sceva) who were trying to rid the man of the demon in the “name of Jesus, whom Paul preaches”. The Demon had replied “ Jesus I know and Paul I know, but who are you” Whereupon the man who had the Demon attacked all of them with such a ferocity that all of them fled, naked, wounded, and bleeding.

Remember always use hollow points and go for the head shot to put them down permanentlyWith a thousand rounds of .22 in your pockets and a suppressed pistol, all you would need is at least 8-feet of height (tree, semi, roof, etc) over the zombie-herd and you could produce a pile-O'-headshot-corpses as a trip-hazard that the rest would have great difficulty walking over or through. Then take off at your leisure while they're tripping over each other. Presumes it's the Hollywood zombies (lumbering stumbler type) and not the British-movie zombies (run, jump & climb type).
On a more serious note, I recently read where the "zombie" (staggering, grunting biters) myth likely stemmed from rabies outbreaks in humans way back before they knew what it was or what to do about it. Sounds plausible anyway...
Yet another case of better weirdness thru chemistry. Could this bath salts stuff actually be more of a chemical weapon like agent BZ?
Both LSD & PCP are known to give folks flashbacks or it might something new to get around the new laws banning bath salts.
