The DeLorean returns back from the future as a monster truck
If Marty McFly and Doc Brown were ever to reunite for a sequel to Back to the Future III, the old time traveling DeLorean would need an upgrade of some sort to justify the ticket. How about adding 44-inch tires to a DeLorean and converting it into a monster truck? That'll do!
While the DeLorean Motor Company is busy producing electric DeLoreans for a 2013 release, one DeLorean easily bested all others at the 2012 DeLorean Car Show & Convention in Orlando, Florida.
What you have here is a 1981 DeLorean sitting on top of a 1979 Chevrolet K5 Blazer frame and power from a 5.7-liter V8 engine.
The gull-wing doors appear to be intact but there's no sign of the flux capacitor. Eh, who needs it, when you've got the power to stomp out all the other cars on the road. Looks like Brown was wrong about the future not having any roads.
Watch as the DeLorean monster truck gets a helping hand trying to pull out of a parking lot. (YouTube link provided below.)

Delorean Monster Truck
I’m going to dissent here and state this as an abomination.
What a waste.
“1.21 gigawatts? 1.21 gigawatts? Great Scott!”
Obviously you don’t live anywhere near the Pine Barrens.
88 mph over any terrain.
There was already a Back to the Future III. That’s the one in the old west. He means BTF IV.
"Why", I ask. ---WHY?
"Why", I ask. ---WHY?
Who better to give a 'green' energy grant to than a company who has already gone belly up?
Read again: “for a sequel to Back to the Future III”
“Rednecks? Where we’re going, we’ll be the rednecks!”
Nice pipes. Just needs more mirrors and a rear-vew camera and all will be well.
“If Marty McFly and Doc Brown were ever to reunite for a sequel to Back to the Future III, the old time traveling DeLorean would need an upgrade of some sort...”
It certainly would, since it was annihilated by a railroad train at the end of Back to the Future III.
I love this series and III was my favorite of the trilogy.
So when it gets stuck in the old west again, they don’t have to worry about gas. They just hook it up to a windmill and charge the battery.
Excellent - you should submit a script to the producers!
