Russian scientists claimed Wednesday they have discovered blood in the carcass of a woolly mammoth, adding that the rare find could boost their chances of cloning the prehistoric animal.

I think you are right. I read another article that said the plan is to have an elephant carry the embryo to term.

I'd guess that once you pay off the costs of acquiring the first breeding pair, dino meat would be a lot cheaper than chicken.
Chickens are pretty efficient at turning chicken feed into meat, but I suspect dinosaurs would be more so.
Being gigantotherms, they would use a lower percentage of their food for energy than a warm blooded chicken.
Less death involved too. How many meals in a dinosaur compared to a chicken?
