If he'd ordered donuts, then all would be forgiven.

Why did he still have his cell phone if he was in a jail cell?

Maybe they meant a payphone in his jail cell.

Maybe they meant a payphone in his jail cell.

Those are usually collect only phones. It'd be hard to get a pizza joint to take your order if you couldn't even pay for the call.

I thought it was while they were booking him. Still doesn’t explain why he has his phone.

Ned Braden: Now, they give you one phone call. See they book you, and then the give you one phone call.

Jack Hanson: Call the pizza man!

He wasn’t in a cell, he was being booked. They usually search you for weapons before they arrest you, but they don’t take all your property from you until they get you booked.

“Harp now faces additional identity/deception/impersonation charges. Under Kentucky law, pretending to be a police officer is a felony.”

Well, that’s a bit extreme for a silly prank. Making him pay for the dang pizzas without getting to eat them is probably punishment enough.

I guess he can be glad they didn’t charge him with trying to bribe an officer too.
