Bill Nye specifically targeted the elderly this week as he spoke out against climate change deniers, saying that climate science will start to advance when old people start to "age out," according to a report.
The "Science Guy" said that generationally, the majority of climate change deniers are older.
"Climate change deniers, by way of example, are older. It's generational," Nye told the Los Angeles Times. Nye said that he is calling them out with "due respect," acknowledging that he is "now one of them."
"We're just going to have to wait for those people to 'age out,' as they say," Nye went on, adding that "age out" is a euphemism for "die." "But it'll happen, I guarantee you — that'll happen."

Not really; they just don’t want younger people exposed to older people who expected (and usually received), in return for their work, the ability to buy a home and car. Here in NJ it is a no-brainer; property taxes and auto insurance are so high few young people can afford them. However, to their credit, rather than lying down and accepting they’ll user ride-share apps and live in worker hives, many of them are simply leaving to live somewhere else (where they can buy a home and/or car).

Saw an interview with him and he was “bragging about” the pre-industrial world when we produced less CO2. Before 1850. So what were people burning for heat and consuming for food. Mostly likely food and fuel that produced a lot of green house gas. Only it was less controlled back then. Burning coal in your fireplace is not a good thing — just look at the city skylines of 100+ years ago. The haze was so thick....
That would be because older people were not indoctrinated into the cult throughout their school life.

You hear more and more of these pronouncements in recent years, now that the evil lefties have been emboldened by Hussein Beelzebub 0bama. Not that long ago, something of this nature would never be stated.

Hopefully, Nye will proceed to get the funeral procession of Climate Hucksters started by leaving this mortal coil. Then true scientific discovery and research can advance. One funeral at a time.
It must be pointed out that since “early man” the oldest have been been dying. Not a single one from pre-history is still alive..that is a 100% fatality rate.
The liberal complaint is that every increasingly success of modern medicine is enabling the “inconvenient” oldest among us to just plain “outlive their usefulness.”
This “unintended consequence” of medical advances is the problem. Thus the push for “Singlel Payer” and the soon to be appointed “Death Panels”
