Bill Nye specifically targeted the elderly this week as he spoke out against climate change deniers, saying that climate science will start to advance when old people start to "age out," according to a report.
The "Science Guy" said that generationally, the majority of climate change deniers are older.
"Climate change deniers, by way of example, are older. It's generational," Nye told the Los Angeles Times. Nye said that he is calling them out with "due respect," acknowledging that he is "now one of them."
"We're just going to have to wait for those people to 'age out,' as they say," Nye went on, adding that "age out" is a euphemism for "die." "But it'll happen, I guarantee you — that'll happen."
I have to admit he looks older than 61.
There is a form of the Gell-Mann amnesia effect that applies to government. People can figure out government is lying to them about one item, but turn around and believe everything the government tells them about something else.
Not sure it is amnesia. Perhaps they just believe what they want to believe and it doesn’t matter what the truth is. If government is corrupt, why wouldn’t I expect most of its people to be corrupt?
Old people need to die out because too many of them remember the apocalyptic predictions from decades ago that never came to fruition. Just a week or so ago, Prince Charles’s 96 months ended and the globe is still spinning.

That 60% figure may apply to white libs (in terms of believing in man-made climate change), but I see no indication any other demographic believes it. When young people start walking/bicycling everywhere voluntarily, I’ll believe that THEY believe. Otherwise, it is lip service to pretend to be enlightened (often to have sex with someone who also pretends to care).
Bill Nye just admitted that his “science” is actually politics.
Very true (and very scary); the Soviets had to eliminate the middle class so they could create a permanent underclass which never knew anything else.

And people think that regimes that will kill off part of a population is ancient history. This POS Nye is not alone in the solution to problems: murder of those opposed or too costly to the state. They have no qualms about killing babies,the elderly and dream of concentration camps for "deniers".
