i’d go for solar lights....guess where i’d aim the beam.
I know of a house with a life size purple brontosaurus in their front yard. and people drive down the dead end street to take photos they even let their kids climb on it. This neighbor is in for a huge fight she has it good and doesn’t know enough to STFU
HOAs attract the worst of the worst people. If that were my house I would double the amount of fake plants. Especially fake metallic Christmas trees and a few inflatable palm trees just for good measure.
Depends on how much money you have to burn on lawyers. I have seen more than once instance of residents giving an HOA the grand middle finger and refusing their directives. The residents made their objections stick too. It can be an expensive hobby.
Also, many States now limit the enforcement powers of HOA's and have invalidated some of their bylaws. Too many HOA boards have not been keeping up with changes in the laws. It can be a rude awakening for them.
I have an unhinged neighbor like this. We got an unsigned note on our door complaining that our dogs bark (go figure). The second note said it was our second warning. Our neighbor down the street got 3 notes. The guy drives up in front of the house, sneaks up to the door, never rings the doorbell or introduces himself, and leaves a note, all when we were home, and our neighbors were home when they got their notes. He even posted our neighbor’s address on the neighborhood facebook page. They have young children who are terrified to stay home alone because of this creepy stalker. After the second “warning” I called the police. They said they know who is doing it and the guy is tagging every house that has dogs, and they’ve received multiple complaints about the notes. The police told us if we catch him in the act, they will arrest him for trespassing.
That is some serious talent.
NAILED IT.
Angry middle-aged Asian “Dragon Lady.”
Make her chase you in her car; that’ll pretty much end this.
“All your base are belong to us!”
“... if we catch him in the act...”
Sounds like a worthy challenge ta me.
If your condo just banned clipboards on the grounds they wouldn’t have these issues.
;-)
Oh my! Karen is quite unhinged.
“IF you chose to not correspond,
there might be an official action taken that will include the police
called to write an lawsuit, or the flowery being removed and
discarded of quite immediately.”
I’d be laughing too hard to “correspond.” I might go get some pink plastic flamingos and stick those on my lawn just for more fun. 😂
Bring out the lawn jockeys and garden gnomes. Some huge plastic tropical plants with blinking lights would be good too.
Better have a look at your Settings.
Mine warned me 3x, after I went back to Forum, and came back to article 2x to read it.
Haven’t gone to the link, but is this a hoax?
If I were going to hoax someone (and I have), I would write just like that.
I have an autographed picture of Divine around here somewhere.
Don’t ask how I got it.

Put up a fake pot plant.
I live is a subdivision with very weak covenants - they once admitted at one of the last HOA meetings I attended (like 15 years ago) that they have no legal recourse at all to enforce anything - they can only take you to small claims court if you don’t pay the dues. I quit going to the meetings after that - I figure if they don’t have a quorum they can’t enact anything stupid.
I have neighbors that have completely ignored the covenants and gotten away with it for many years. The only one I know I have violated is the prohibition against burning garbage. My neighbor burns his in one of those patio fire pits to make it look legit.
And I proudly have fake plants on the porch - they look better and last longer than the real ones.
And I proudly have fake plants on the porch

Put up a figure of Biden.
That would be a fake president.
What would be the response?
