Social media, rather than creating a more interactive society, could be its undoing. Humans are not designed to interact at anything beyond the scope of a tribe / neighborhood. Are minds are not engineered for it.

Social stability in this country depends to a large degree on financial stability and people feeling able to keep up with rising costs while improving their standard of living. When those conditions disappear, as seems increasingly likely with persistent inflation and rising debt levels, people will become more restless. Just saying.
