Half of European men share King Tut's DNA (2011)

Up to 70 percent of British men and half of all Western European men are related to the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, geneticists in Switzerland said.

Scientists at Zurich-based DNA genealogy center, iGENEA, reconstructed the DNA profile of the boy Pharaoh, who ascended the throne at the age of nine, his father Akhenaten and grandfather Amenhotep III, based on a film that was made for the Discovery Channel.

The results showed that King Tut belonged to a genetic profile group, known as haplogroup R1b1a2, to which more than 50 percent of all men in Western Europe belong, indicating that they share a common ancestor.

Among modern-day Egyptians this haplogroup contingent is below 1 percent, according to iGENEA. "It was very interesting to discover that he belonged to a genetic group in Europe -- there were many possible groups in Egypt that the DNA could have belonged to," said Roman Scholz, director of the iGENEA Center.

Around 70 percent of Spanish and 60 percent of French men also belong to the genetic group of the Pharaoh who ruled Egypt more than 3,000 years ago. "We think the common ancestor lived in the Caucasus about 9,500 years ago," Scholz told Reuters.

It is estimated that the earliest migration of haplogroup R1b1a2 into Europe began with the spread of agriculture in 7,000 BC, according to iGENEA. However, the geneticists were not sure how Tutankhamun's paternal lineage came to Egypt from its region of origin.

And that same percentage are related to Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, and Sonny Bono.

The title is misleading. King Tut is part of a haploid group along with a large percentage of other men living today. So, I may share a gene group with someone related to my grandmother and with whom there is no family connection to me.

Biology by computer models, as if there was no microchimerism or horizontal gene transfer involved.

And they believe this stuff too.

Egypt was the center of trade in the old world for a couple thousand years. Trade that included shipping to far off ports, and we all know what sailors do on shore leave..................

Yeah, I remember a few years ago lefty idiots were denouncing Steve Martin’s song as “racist” and “cultural appropriation.”

Now, it turns out that Tut was actually European after all...

“As many as half of all European men and 70 percent of British men share the same DNA as the Egyptian Pharaoh Tutankhamun, or King Tut.”

Sister Sookey Comes Home--The Limelighters

"Tell me what you did in Egypt, girl,
Did you find yourself another man?"
She said, "I met King Tut and King Farouk
And they were all pleased with the things I do."

And that girl, she's back from Egypt.

Intresting, because Kings Tut and Farouk lived about 3,500 years apart. The song is an answer to Sister Sookey by the Turbans, which is about a girl who hops a freight train and eventually winds up in Egypt.

This is not claiming that half of European men are descendants of King Tut but that they have a common ancestor. There is a big difference.

It is even more interesting that less than 1% of Egyptians do not have a common ancestor with King Tut. This indicates that when the Egyptian civilization fell that those who took over the area almost completely killed off the previous residents who remained. Basically, only those who escaped from the area survived. Those who took their places only pretend to be the descendants of those who built the pyramids etc...

We can expect the same type of treatment from those the Biden administration has been importing into the country to replace us. Two thousand years from now they will be pretending to be descendants of those who formed the United States.

We know that tin was shipped from ancient British Isles to the middle east to support the bronze industry at least as far back as 1300 BC.

Who knows how many other connections there were from the middle east up into Europe or anywhere else in the old world.

The ruling elites of many society are very different geneticly
from the rest of the population

Witness the “British” royal family , which is German, only in last 2 generations have they admitted English into the family
