Prominent Middle East expert Dr. James Zogby tells Newsmax that President Obama is polling about 18 percent below his 2008 numbers among Arab-American voters.
But those Arab-Americans who are Muslims now “overwhelmingly” support the Democratic candidate compared to four years ago, he adds.
Zogby also discloses that Arab-Americans across the board consider jobs and the economy as the most important issue in this year’s elections.
Zogby is founder and president of the Arab American Institute, a Washington, D.C.–based organization that serves as a political and policy research arm of the Arab-American community, and author of the book “Arab Voices: What They Are Saying to Us and Why it Matters.”

The Arab American Institute and JZ Analytics has just polled Arab-American voters in the key swing states of Florida, Michigan, Pennsylvania, Ohio, and Virginia, and found that they favor Obama over Mitt Romney by a margin of 52 percent to 28 percent....

Most “Jewish” voters are about as Jewish as you and I are. They’re merely descended from the tribes of Israel. Devout Jews, on the other hand, will give Gov. Romney quite a few votes. To illustrate that, polls taken in Israel favor Romney over Obama by large margins.

There are a lot of Christian Arab-Americans — Zogby should separate those outo from the Muslims.
Just out of curiosity; what is the islamic view on abortion and homosexual marriage? It seems that we never hear about this in the media, or from the jihadis that support obama.

I worked with a Zogby cousin, and took a course once, many years ago from John Zogby. Neither of them was in the business they're in now. The family's heritage is Lebanese, and as far as I know, they're Catholic. Their cousin was a funny $hit, and from talking with him, he believed that James was in a world of his own. The cousin left me with the impression that James never cared much about his ethnic background until he discovered he could make a lot of money from it.
Well of course. They, too, like having a black Muslim already in the White House.

The effort was so organized that Muslim taxi drivers in northern Virginia took the day off to ferry Muslims to the polls, said Imam Mahdy Bray, a speaker at the convention. Volunteers also made phone calls to Muslims in Virginia to urge them to vote, he said.
As a result, Democrat James Webb ousted incumbent Republican George Allen by about 9,000 votes in a race in which 50,000 Muslims went to the polls -- 47,000 of them voting for Webb, Bray said.
For my money Senator Allen gets all the credit for running a losing campaign. Nevertheless, if 96 percent of Muslims are going to vote Democratic, that would make them a more reliable Democratic constituency than African Americans. Democrats consistently receive only about 90 percent of African American votes.
