"This Just In".... conservatives have another comedic cartoon
Posted on 4/6/2004, 4:35:34 AM by Me vs. the Communist left
Along with the popular Comedy Central cartoon "South Park" whose creators Trey Parker and Matt Stone are out-spoken Republicans who made Saddam Hussein a lover of Satan and tree-hugging hippies as the enemy of the entire show. Conservatives now have Spike TV's "This Just In' which is a hilarously well-written program that totally smashes liberals. I love it. Thank you Spike TV. Tonight's episode had a character shoot a bazooka at Michael Moore who is portrayed as a complete slob (which he is..very accurate portrayal in my opinion)they also made fun of other liberal celebs such as Jeanne Garafalo, musician Moby, and Al Franken and they called liberals names I can't repeat here. I'm glad to see conservatives with a comedic-style show. It's about time. For awhile it was only devout Republicans Trey Parker and Matt Stone with South Park and now we have two.. Times they are a-changin

LOL, Yes things are changing, no more can the left get away with their usualt tactics. In the past 10 years we have seen the Left have to account for thier blatant bias in the print media and especially the mainstream media.
More and more the left is being exposed for what they are and this is a great time to be a conservative. Mainly because we have outlets that actaully support the Conservative veiwpoints.
Who could deny that Michael Moore isn't a fat lying slob who isn't capable of backing up any of his claims with facts?
Who could claim that Richard Clarke's sole purpose in publically testifying in front of the 9/11 Commission wasn't simply to promote his book?
The fact that John Kerry's 4 Month's of questionable service in Vietnam goes largely unchallenged, but George W. Bush's 5.8 years of Service in the Texas Air National Guard has been under a Microscope?
Obviously there is a double standard, but will it be uncovered is the real question?

I don't have tv and always thought South Park was just a terrible show, although I never saw it. Well my daughter came home from college and had me download the "Anti-Mormon" episode and I was absolutely dumbfounded. It was the most effective rebuking of this pseudo-religious belief and it's roots done in such a short time that I was simply amazed.
But it is most definitely not a kids show. The language was terrible, but I cannot speak to other episodes.
The writers had really done their homework though.

I forgot to watch Sunday's episode.
It's okay...not as witty as I thought it would be and it does tend to gloss over some issues.

Does anybody know what this weeks South Park is going to be about? Could it be Al Franken?

"...Trey Parker and Matt Stone are out-spoken Republicans ..."Trey Parker is a Libertarian. I'm not sure about Matt Stone, but he likely is a Libertarian as well, IMO.
To: The Green Goblin
Yes, anyone who thinks the South Park creators are Republican hasn't watched very many episodes.

Trey Parker and Matt Stone have admitted they vote REPUBLICAN.It's all over the internet in magazines they vote Republican. Writer Andrew Sullivan even coined the phrase South Park Republicans. But beyond the fact that they have said it with their own mouths is the shows themselves. They rip on liberal celebrities almost episode. here's a link that reviews every issue that they attack liberals because there's so much I don't feel like explaining it to you.
http://www.richwatch.net/reports/2003/5/south_park_chickens_out_on_war.htm And I've watched the show from the start
To: Rise of South Park Republicans
Hey, one of the reasons I am a big SP fan is that they rip into republicans as gleefully as democrats. And I've seen all the episodes. The writers probably only vote republican because the Libertarians aren't out of their loony phase yet.
Any republican that trashes religion is...uh...apostate?

First of all, I'm a libertarian Republican. I have voted Republican in every election. Like Trey & Matt, I don't like Pat Robertson & Jerry Falwell as voices of my party.
These Bible-thumping humps do no good for my beloved party.
Believe it or not, not every Republican digs that religious right stuff
