Janet Jackson Bares it Again On National TV (Sick Parody of Condi Rice Testimony)
Boston Herald ^ | April 11, 2004 | wire staff

She did.

Many fans of 'Saturday Night Live were wondering if singer Janet Jackson would duplicate her Super Bowl wardrobe malfunction last night-and she did.

But the nature of the skit in which she bared her bosom was a surprise.

Jackson was spoofing National Security Advisor Dr. Condoleezza Rice testifying before the 9/11 commission.

When the questioning got tough, Jackson-portraying Rice-opened her blouse and pretended to reveal her right breast-the same one seen by millions during her Super Bowl halftime appearance.

This time her chest wes obscured by a gray blob superimposed by the network.

As part of the skit, comedian Darrell Hammond-portraying Vice President Dick Cheney -has advised the Rice character to reveal 'just one headlight, real quick'- to distract the public from her testimony.

Typical move inspired by the Clintons: If you are unable to elevate yourself, tear someone else down to your level.

"our own media can't remember much beyond a few years (long-term drug abuse will do that).."

That reminds me another line from the skit:
CHENEY: "Dick Clark is hooked on heroine... !"

NOW, I DO BELIEVE THAT !

Thank you, I thought the skit was funny, too. And by the way, Janet Jackson may be a good dancer, but she truly is not a good singer. But what a body!!!! And she has to have the best face (what cheekbones!) in the world.

It's been crap ever since the unfunny and bitchy Tina Fey took over as one of the head writers. She's also a leftist nut who hates (is jealous) of Ann Coulter.

"Remember, Janet Jackson is 36 years old-- time is running out. It's obvious that her quest in life is the quest for attention. I pity her. One day, in her free time, she'll look back and ask something like "is that all that I was?" What a nothing."

You'd be surprised what surgery can do these days.

Just look what it did for Michael...

there's high-brow humor, there's low-brow humor, and then, there's... this.

SNL went down the tubes a long time ago. It is for teeny-boppers with no sense of reality who live solely to be amused and entertained very often by shock entertainment only. When SNL debuted nearly 30 years ago now, it at least had a component of wit to it. I haven't watched it much in recent years, but every now and again while bored/tired late night I catch a glimpse of it.

It's a rare minute when there's any humor that is similar in style and wit to that which made SNL popular to begin with. It has gone thru some "ups and downs" w/ varying casts, but by and large it has gone on a downhill slide and is continuing on that trend.

Much of the humor has always been boorish and crude, but at least done with a semblance of good taste. These days, and for the last 15 years by and large, it's a complete waste of time.

I suppose little kiddies and "Peter Pans" get a good chuckle out of the nonsensical humor, but what is genuninely humorous is layered in between so much crap, waste of time junk, and overall drivel trying to pass for real humor, that the laughs are not worth the time and can be synopsized in less time than the commercials run for throughout the hour.

Most of us that grew up with the Jane Curtin, Chevy Chase, Bill Murray, even the Eddie Murphy days, have invariable "gone back" to take a look and been sorely disappointed and even ashamed that "their" original show has degenerated into such crap.

Maybe Al Franken should go back on there in a week or two after the "Hate-America Radio Free Terrorism/Communism Network" folds up like a cheap tent in a hurricane!

Go have at it Al! Maybe you do have some worth and value on this planet other than as food for the sub-terrain food chain following your otherwise seemingly worthless existence and brief stint here on earth! I cringe to think that there isn't a single, regardless of how minor, success still waiting to be released in that brain of yours. Then again, even that may be hoping against all hope.

So when can we have the skit making fun of her freak of a brother and his child molestation habits? True, there's not much to laugh at (except his face), but then, there was nothing to laugh at with Dr. Rice's testimony either. Janet Jackson could only dream of being as beautiful, intelligent and gracious as Dr. Rice (who could have truly slammed Richard Clarke, but didn't).

I thought Janet was the weakest host I've seen and the material in the show only had about 2 good minutes in the American Idol sketch.

That was really "ALL SHE WROTE".

Did you see where she put a cigar out on another dancer at the end of the show? She is such a skank.

No it might've been funny, if the intention was known to be genuine comedy, and not the start of the campaign of ridicule of Bush and Bush's team. I fear that Condi is marked for a major media smear, and SNL is just issuing an opening volley. I can't watch it anymore.

There was this one skit, a few years back, with Christopher Walken as a condemned criminal, sitting in the electic chair, with the "switch man" playing all kinds of jokes on him as he waited to be "jolted." I am laughing now just thinking about it. At the last second he gets a "reprieve" call from who he thinks is the governor, turns out to be the "switchman." That skit was killer.....

Well, the fact that she's smoking a cigar wouldn't speak too "glamorously" for her anyway. ;)

She is a skank, and instead of trying to make good for the SB stuff, she decides to turn it into a big joke. At least it wasn't where my 3 year old would see it. Heck, it wasn't even where I would see it! :D LOL

MTV and VH1 would be perfect network hosts for SNL these days. Maybe Howard Stern could host the show permanently. We could have a veritable 'meeting of the minds' here. Just imagine the sludge and filth that could permeate our airwaves on such high morality networks as MTV and VH1.

I wonder if there's a "Girls Gone Wild" video of the women of the Dim party at one of their "galas." LOL I can see Nancy Pelosi and Hillary really tearin' it up after having a few funnels. Of course Ted...h'cup...Kennedy could lead off the video with a funnel of scotch!

Where is the bottommost point in the Janet Jackass career? How much further can/will she descend?

She'll show the rest in Playboy while the Hefners are still willing to show her on the cover. That clock is running. I don't know how her age now compares with La Toya's at her spread.
