Directly on the heels of news that the House of Saud has decided to crack down on one of its most notorious "charities" comes news that a freshly released poll shows that nearly half of Saudis support the views and propaganda of Osama bin Laden.
Which means that even if the Saudi government does finally do something about the petrodollar pipeline that feeds Islamic terrorists -- because this time they "really mean it" -- Saudi cash will still be responsible for most terrorism around the world.
Just look at the survey.

Good points - I wonder what will happen to them when we pull out or leave them to their own devices. They can them blame it on Bush.
ALL advancements in drilling and production comes from the United States of America, and most of it is developed on the Gulf Coast of Louisiana.
The oilfields of the world depend on U.S. expertise and technology to continue operation.
Many countries have tried to boot out the Americans and run it themselves. None have succeeded.

Saudi Plan "A" is to have enough invested in the West so that the return will equal oil income forever. That of course, would be enough to take care of the House of Saud in its many thousands. What happens to the millions of illiterate ordinary folk, the terrorist recruiting pool? Despite the fact that there are almost no infrastructures of sustainablity anywhere in the Muslim world that are not designed, built and maintained by foreigners, they will survive somehow, Inshallah. (Largely by being paid to go cause trouble elsewhere, alhumdoolillah.)
Of course, when the House of Saud is eventually overthrown and the infidel foreigners (ferengi literally the "Franks" of crusader fame) who defile the sacred soil of Muhammed (May Peace Be Upon Him), are eventually killed and/or thrown out, oil production will probably cease within 3 months, or weeks, or days. A week later the electricity will go off. Then, the massive desalinization plants that enabled the gigantic population growth, will go off line. Cell phones might last a while longer. (Of course, one of the sharper chisels in the Arab tool box might decide those CHICOM infidels ain't so bad.)
But the eventual overthrow of the House of Saud is not the only problem facing Saudi Arabia. They have an oil reservce large enough to supply the world for 1,000 years, with increases at the present rate factored in. That was before the discovery of the new fields in the Empty Quarter, which DOUBLED known reserves.
Call me paranoid, but I have the feeling the present JIHAD and the attempt to move parts of the population of the faithful to Europe are at least partially caused by fears of a preciptious drop in oil prices due to the enormous OVERSUPPLY of the commodity. If oil falls below $25/barrel and stays there, it could be chaos for KSA. Even though it only costs them about 50 cents in real money to produce and ship it, the Royals need every penny of the difference to keep the ever growing number of pathologically bored, non-working peasants fed, and behaving nicely. These folks are a time-bomb with a short fuse.
Oh yeah, The world is literally awash in oil. Domestically, we just don't have the refining capacity here to handle it. No new refineries since Eisenhower, thanks to our pals on the left.
As far as this hatred of the Jews goes, IMHO it IS envy. Islam is strongly rooted in Judaism (and accepts elements of Christianity, too), and the Arabs simply cannot understand how the Jews made the successful shift toward becoming Westerners, with all those beautiful Western perks (which they design, build, and MAINTAIN all on their own.)
Those Jews. They deny Muhammed (May Peace Be Upon Him) and they get all those goodies, too? That just ain't fair! Try this experiment: don't work for 1400 years and just sit around mulling over this damned unfairness in your mosque 5 times a day, under the direction of mullahs who vie for title of the "most bloodthirsty" and you may get a clue to the sick nature of this semitic anti-semitism, not to mention the development of anti-infidel feelings in general.
Oil? No problem for the West, just some technical and economic issues. Islam. Big goddam problem. Incompatible with the West. It's us, or them. Sorry.
I agree with everything you said.
" but instead of crack, they are addicted to virulent hatred of the infidel, to which the idle masses are driven by their mad mullahs.
"
idle "inbred" saudi welfare recipient minds are the workshop of the devil.
Nice rant - makes sense to me - I just finished watching a special on the Discovery channel about the causes of 911 by Thomas Freedman - it echoes much of what you say.
The Arabs blame the US for their third world status when they were leaders of the world at one time. They think that if we stopped supporting Israel, the monarchies and dictatorships they could then have their Islamic paradise.
It was reported that the GNP of the 22 Arab countries don't equal the GNP of even one European country, Spain. They are wallowing in poverty and fail to blame themselves instead of their Religion - and wish they could live the lifestyle of America.
In my opinion, one of the main reasons they continue to maintain a 3rd world economy is that they are wasting half of their natural resource - women. More than half of the women are illiterate - thanks to their religion.
Three years after 911 and this is significant?
Please.
If anybody really wants to know the answer as to why the Arabs hate us and Israel, they'll have to return to the Bible to find the answer.
All you have to do is read the story of Abraham and Sarah and the answer is right in front of you. Ismael (born to a slave woman - Arab) Isaac (born to Sarah - the wife - Jewish).
If you look at a map of the middle east, Arabs owns most all the land which GOD gave to Abraham ..?? Why? Because in Jewish law, the eldest son receives the father's inheritance. Ismael believed he was the eldest son (but he was born outside the marriage). Isaac believed he was the eldest son (he was born inside the marriage). Both boys believe they are entitled to the inheritance of Abraham.
This whole thing is two half brothers fighting over a land inheritance from their father. GOD promised Abraham ALL THE LAND from the Egyptian River (I believe that would be the Nile), to the Euphrates (I believe that's in Iraq).
America gets entangled in this by supporting Israel .. the true inheritor of Abraham's inheritance.
"They think that if we stopped supporting Israel, the monarchies and dictatorships they could then have their Islamic paradise."
Yeah sure the continuation of oppresed women in the form of fifteen wives breeding inbred bigoted misogynys sand monkey males. No thanks. Stop female oppression now!
Friedman-esque hyperbole. The Arabs led the world is not quite accurate. What they were doing is growing fat on the carcass of the Byzantine Empire. As soon as they had consumed all there was to consume, destroyed or perverted what they couldn't, and forcibly converted those Christians they could get their hands on, they thereupon went into a decline from which they are yet to emerge.
bump
They'd rather go down to the mall and get
blown up than have to look at a drill rig so small on the
horizon you can't hardly see it.
Don't sugarcoat it, Tet. Tell us what you really think.
I have met many women from Saudi Arabia. They never expressed any hatred toward Americans. One in particular had an abusive husband and told me that she wishes she could have married an American man, that she thinks American men are good to their wives.
the Arabs/Muslims are bastards?
Is this supposed to be something new?
It looks like,
---------------------H----------------------------
Have any of these cretins ever even SEEN a deep rig, a floater? They are awesome, what a tribute to American ingeniuity! When I win the powerball, I 'm gonna buy one just to live on!
Arrrrrrrrrrrgh!
I agree. I don't understand why it is taking this long for people to realize that we cannot depend on foreign sources for our energy and that we should have taken steps long ago to ensure that no one could threaten our means of running this country.
If the West "gave" the Saudis their country and they have been naughty for decades, why can't the West just "take it back"?
