This is not official..leaked probably by the defense..The word is that the tipster did not use the words "duct tape" and Geragos is going to call for a mistrial, prosecutor should have known, Broncchini lied...disaster looms..Blah blah blah..
We'll know today if it is true, if it is serious, if the judge is going to delete, chastise, ..or anything else the pundits have imagined.
misfitting.com has a chart up describing the testimony of each witness in brief and what it shows...It's worth a look...She didn't get to the Broncchini testimony yet.
On what planet does one attack a poster w/o knowing the FACTS?
Fact: NO ONE in the public knows WHAT the old college friend (Espidia) told Brocchini.
If you have some inside track, and can get information that the public can't, please publish a copy of Old College Friend's statement and also a copy of Brocchini's report of his conversation with Old College Friend.
If not, then learn to be sure brain is in gear before engaging mouth.
THE OJ trial keeps coming up in my mind ,they had the guy dead on ,and he still was found not guilty, they have nothing to date on this guy exept that he is a cad, and he was fishing two miles from where the bodies turned up ,I dont know what to think.
How can we know if Brocchini made it up unless we know exactly what is in the old college friend's statement, and in the report Brocchini must've written contemporaneously, and if we haven't heard from the old college friend?
Brocchini also said the old college friend's statement was not credible. Was that a lie too?
Is it too farfetched to imagine that maybe Geragos is telling a lie or two to his many media shills?
What to think: (First be sure you're familiar with the facts, including small ones like what she was wearing and when the evidence shows Scott left his house on Dec. 24, etc.)
Then tell yourself sincerely that Scott did not do it, that someone else did it. Then figure out, as much as you can, how, why, when, and where the person killed Laci, hid her body, and escaped without being caught.
Try it. I did.
LOL....
Snip it:
"(KCBS) - The Scott Peterson double murder trial resumes this morning after a six day holiday recess.
KCBS Reporter Bob Melrose in Redwood City says several more Modesto police officers are expected to take the stand this week.
Peterson's former mistress Amber Frey could also testify in the coming days.
Prosecutors claim Frey was Peterson's motive to murder his wife. The prosecution has been trying to portray Peterson as cheating husband."........
Lovely bear. I was there oh about 20 years ago!! LOL
There is a way around that you know...it's not for public comsumption but I could Freepmail you, I am sure you would not "abuse" it.
I agree Julie. Distaso WILL be able to address this. He's a LOT smarter than the TH's are giving him. In fact, I'm APPALLED at the reporting. Just look at the title headings of the above articles!! LOOK OUT Geragos the train is gonna run ya over from behind!!
Thanks very much for the ping, rb! More excitement ahead, right?
Who knows that the tipster didn't use the words duct tape in the FIRST phone call to Brocchini??? I can't believe these breathless IDIOTS!!
Ummmm troll alert????? Just wondering.
Don't know, but I don't think so. Might even be someone with genuine curiosity about the case--as we have! Wouldn't that be nice for a change, lol.
Good... sheesh... let him go. If he is to testify during the state's case, then the state has to call him as a witness. They've called other witnesses lately.
If Geragos wants him back on the stand so he can vilify him, then seems to me Geragos must wait his turn, and call Brocchini then. Let's see, how would he open the questioning...
"Det. Brocchini, you're back here to spin some more lies, frame the defendant some more, and make a mockery out of the justice system, right?"
(To which Brocchini might well reply, "No, I thought you already had all that covered.")
LOL!
I guess MG was not granted his mistrial. No admonitions were made this AM either. Maybe the Pros. let Judge and MG know that they had notes to back up the Detective's comments? Or maybe they will finish up with the witness on stand before calling him back? I guess we'll see as the day goes on....
LOL - Good one!!
