Fantastic info find here! Thanks. Lot's to keep in the archives.

Aside from all the detailed biographical material, this jumped out at me:

"The coming days will witness the surrender of many on the wanted list,"

From the context this would appear to be coming from the guy who had previously surrendered. It has me wondering exactly what it is we are seeing here.

"Video aired by the Arabic television network Al-Arabiya Tuesday showed al-Harbi being carried from a plane and placed in a wheelchair."

Wonder if an injury, (an old one or more recent ?) made staying on the run or in hiding all but impossible .... maybe he needs continuing medical attention.

Would we have caught him if John Kerry hadn't served in Vietnam?

It is the stick and carrot model. Used in many cases, such as in Waziristan (Pakistan).

He was stripped of his Saudi citizenship, wasn't he. And wouldn't that make him ineligible for the amnesty deal?

This story has legs if you ask me.

This war will be over long before we realize it. There will be no white flag, no formal surrender.

We may have already won the all-important psychological war. The first indication that we are winning is the abandonment of suicide bombings in exchange for martyr-less and cowardly snatch-and-behead tactics in Iraq, and the martyr-less character of remote detonation bombings.

Not one missive from Osama failed to arrogantly boast of their willingness to die for the cause, and anyone who feels the abandonment of this supreme weapon is trivial is missing a key indication that we may have entered the capitulation stage.

Now this.

The Saudis offer amnesty, clearly to those responsible for bombings within Saudi, and a wounded jihadi, obviously feeling the heat from somewhere, decides he wants to be an ex-jihadi. This is a surrender, pure and simple, and is not necessarily an indication that this thing is over, but if it was toss in the towel(no pun intended) time for him, the conditions ore obviously right for others to do so.

Very well stated. I read he was hiding out on the Iran-Afghan border and called the Saudis and asked to turn himself him. This guy is high enough up the food chain he will know where the senior leadership of AQ is .....or were they were the last time he saw them.

Exactly! I suspect when that supporter of suicide bombers, the ol' dictator of Iraq crawled out of his hole without a fight, he aided in this abondonment.

FBI Alert on Dr. Amjad Mohammed Khan

Quiet capture, it seems.

Husband of Aafia Siddiqui: A Pakistani woman who studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. She received a biology degree in 1995 and wrote a doctoral thesis on neurological sciences in 2001 at Brandeis University. Authorities believe Siddiqui, 32, could be a "fixer," someone with knowledge of the United States who can get things done for other operatives. FBI officials believe Siddiqui also spent time in the Maryland suburbs of Washington, D.C. The FBI issued a global alert for her arrest in March 2003 and requested that Pakistan locate Siddiqui. Her husband, Dr. Amjad Mohammed Khan, also is wanted by the FBI for questioning.

Sometime between now and April. No press, just a "located" update on his photo on the FBI website. Just like KSM is listed as "located."

Where does this fit in and what does the Located mean?

"I bet he was in some danger of being killed by AQ for some reason."

He probably wasn't moving fast enough to keep up with the rest of them.

Just another bad guy caught without any press mention. Notice what they have on KSM's photo. Located means they've found him and he's being tortured somewhere overseas:
