I got some devastating news, twofold today.
One, I have lost my current job with Home Depot. I am still trying to wrap my head around that.
But number two is even worse. My wife no longer feels she can rely on me, even though God knows I try the best I can, and things were going smoothly until right now, but she has called it quits on our marriage.
It hurts me very much to actually be writing this in a public forum, but I am not sure what else to do. My lifeline, my reason for living, has slipped away from me. And God help me, I cannot stop crying. It just hurts so much.
Terri, I will always love you with all my heart and soul. You are the only thing that keeps me going. Please come back to me.
Wow that's pretty sad brother. She doesn't want to be with you because you lost your job???
Sorry to hear you are going thru such tough times. God always has a plan, so keep the faith!
You'll certainly be in our thoughts and prayers, houmatt.
Try to keep the faith.
It is always darkest just before the dawn. Keep your chin up.
Houmatt.
Dry your eyes.
Call your wife.
Tell her what you told us.
Clean up your resume.
You can either apply to another Home Depot or head over to Lowes or similar if that is what you want to do.
God bless you.
You can do anything you set
your mind to with God's help.
Start now and make that call.
someone needs a friend....
Sometime life doesn't go the wway we want... but it does go on. What you make of the future is yours to decide.
/nodding to The Big Guy for you.
praying the Lord will open doors to that which you are not aware of yet and that He will help preserve your marriage ...
Does your wife believe as you do ?
Prayers bump
My prayers are with you. Trust in the Lord, and he will provide.
On the way to pray for you and Terri. What a terrible way to end a week.
God WILL help you, if you ask. Serious soul searching and tremendous painful humility come with God's sometimes harsh trials. I know.... He WILL help you, these tears are part of His help, although hard to believe at this time. If your wife says she can't count on you, you need to humbly search your soul to see if you can make that different. Offer your willingness to go to counseling and make whatever changes necessary.... if you are serious. Women have a hard time turning down sincerity.
Prayers going up.
Tough times don't last But tough people do!
and don't forget to pray
I believe that the Almighty is completely sentient, and He knows what you need better than I (who know nothing about you) could relate it to Him. You may have some rough times ahead, but there's a good possibility that they will all turn out to have been for the best. I wish you the best.
I wish it was that simple. The thing is, I already have. She told me calling does not make things any easier for her. She said that if I kept calling she would just end up hating me. But she said she was going away to a campground Tuesday and maybe she would call me after a month to see how things were.
I'm sorry - what an awful day...dunno a word to really describe a day like that.
Focus on something positive...hang on tight.
You know what the issues are. Deal with them. Be a man. It's tough but you can change your life. Get on with it.
