A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day....08-03-04....Luvya, Dubya! (Countering the Baddest and Ugliest)

A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day
Free Republic made its debut in September, 1996, and the forum was added in early 1997.   Over 100,000 people have registered for posting privileges on Free Republic, and the forum is read daily by tens of thousands of concerned citizens and patriots from all around the country and the world.
A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day was introduced on June 24, 2002. It's only a small room in JimRob's house where we can get to know one another a little better; salute and support our military and our leaders; pray for those in need; and congratulate those deserving. We strive to keep our threads entertaining, fun, and pleasing to look at, and often have guest writers contribute an essay, or a profile of another FReeper.
On Mondays please visit us to see photos of A FEW OF FR'S VETERANS AND ACTIVE MILITARY
If you have a suggestion, or an idea, or if there's a FReeper you would like to see featured, please drop one of us a note in FR mail.
We're having fun and hope you are!

Elizabeth Cochran, aspiring fashion designer and newly devoted conservative, has launched a new line of products just in time for the Republican National Convention which will be held in the city from August 30 until September 2

Countering the Baddest and the Ugliest
(Shameless lovefest for OUR Guy!)

One might think, from listening to the mainstream media (who are trying their darnedst to elect John-John in November) that there is no one left in America who believes in our President, no one who backs his war in Iraq, no one who believes any progress has been made in the War on Terror, no one who believes September 11th wasn't his fault. They are wrong, of course, and they know they are wrong, but it doesn't fit their agenda to present the truth, even after it's been pointed out to them. Instead, we are reminded every day, every hour, that the hamster hero went to Vietnam and has three purple hearts and there are *still* unanswered questions (never mind that the documents have all been produced) about George W. Bush's National Guard Service.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The entertainment industry is making its voice heard loud and clear - much more so than four years ago when Vice President Al Gore was the Democratic nominee. They're not so much for John Kerry as they are against George Bush. They hate George W. Bush, the President who stands for everything good and decent - everything that Hollywood isn't.
They can't identify with this President as they did with the impeached one. They're anti-Bush, and anti-war, and they're on a mission to get him out of Washington. One lavish fundraiser after another, they raise millions of dollars for the Democrats in the hopes that somebody - anybody - can defeat him come November.
Along with Whoopi Goldberg, Barbra Streisand, Chevy Chase, Janeane Garafalo, Alec Baldwin, and of course Michael Moore, here are just a few more on the "Bash Bush Team":
Ben Affleck, Sean Penn, Jack Nicholson, Oliver Stone, Ed Asner, Harvey Weinstein, Mike Farrell, Robert Greenwald, Danny Glover, Harry Belafonte, Martin Sheen, Peter Weller, Francis Ford Coppola, Jane Fonda, Robert Redford, Steven Spielberg, Joel Coen, Ted Turner, Spike Lee, Shirley MacLaine, Leonardo DiCaprio, Woody Harrelson, Rosie O'Donnell, Tim Robbins, Susan Sarandon, Willie Nelson, Bette Midler, Ashton Kutcher, Jack Black, Ben Stiller, Jamie Foxx, Esai Morales, Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Astin, Robin Williams, Larry David, Mark Wahlberg, Jean and Robert De Niro, Jessica Lange and Paul Newman
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

However, while it seems that most celebrities would like nothing better than to say Bye-Bye to Bush in November, there are a few who are proud to stand up for him. Our President *is* backed by these well-known entertainers:
comedian Dennis Miller; actors Bruce Willis, Kelsey Grammer, Tom Selleck and Bo Derek; and country music singers Daniels, Billy Ray Cyrus, Larry Gatlin and Travis Tritt; and the Christian rock band Third Day.
The Democrats may have had the son of the late, great President Reagan speak at their convention, but the former First Lady firmly supports President Bush. It should also be noted that one of the speakers for the Republican Convention is a Senator from Georgia who has a (D) after his name, rather than an (R)! Thank you, Zell Miller! A principled (D) is so refreshing!

Good question, and I don't know the answer. If he does, chances are it would be a breed we haven't heard of or something. :)

Hi Billie. I see you were in an awfully feisty mood when creating today's presentation. With that said, I'm very glad that this time I didn't have to be the one to publicly humiliate you by pointing out your various mistakes. LOL!

I've missed you so much. LOL! Now, wouldn't you know, the TWO parts I didn't *write*, but copied instead (besides the "Companies who support the Republicans/Democrats part), would be the *various mistakes* I made!

Yes, better to have Sarge point them out than you. He was much gentler and kinder. :)

So good to see you again, T Man!

The plastic walled ones will be cheapest, and more easily ventilated, but the aluminum ones will be more easily come by.
Ironically, if memory serves,the steel walled ones will be cheaper than aluminum.
But they'll also be the hottest, most humid spot on earth besides the rain forest or the inside Rosie O'Donnell's skull cavity.

I also think region you're looking in plays a part in price.
Don't have any ideas at the moment as to cost, but last I knew a good sized shipping cotainer was somewhere in the ballpark of 8k.

Conspiracy Guy, those pictures you put with your poem made it even better! That close-up of Kerry's mug in the blue bunny suit had me laughing my head off, as did the picture of him looking absolutely out-of-place and RIDICULOUS with that rifle! What a Blue-Blood, Elitest Buffoon!!

Thank you back for those compliments, Kitty! Yes, the small pictures on the side were all from 2000 and 2001, and I'd used them in a thread about Laura Bush 'way back then'. I'm sorry you lost yours - something I haven't entirely guarded against on my own pc. :(
