The heat's on... and getting hotter for Kerry to release his military records.
Main stream media is starting to give way to the Swiftees. There's no cover for Kerry now.
Here's a graphic you can email out far and wide -- including to the wonderful media. The 'copyright' info is already on the graphic.
Here is the e-mail I sent to ABC's "The Note":
SUBJECT: the weather started getting rough, the tiny ship was tossed...
Hi Noteworthy folks. Mixed reviews on your campaign coverage thus far. However, since Disney owns both ABC and some rights to Pinnochio, I thought I would send you a link to a detailed, though speculative, article on John Kerry's erstwhile relationship with the Rev. David Alston.

I hope it fuels your own investigative instincts.
I am still looking forward to your ABCNews piece on John Kerry's various versions of his Christmas in Cambodia story. I truly believe he could clear a great many of these stories up by authorizing full release of his military records. As investigative reporters, I am inclined to think you would agree. After all, it takes more to be a reporter than read faxes from some political party's HQ on the air, right? You are not honestly waiting for a puff piece in the New Yorker to show you the way, truth, and light on this issue, are you?
I have many, many friends who no longer watch or care about the network news - a change in attitude that has occurred in just a few years' span. I honestly think that network news is going to either reestablish its credibility or dissolve the last bit of it and cede its airtime to a reality show, based on what it does in regards to this story. I would much rather hear objective news reports than wait to see which reality show "survivor" has to eat peanut butter and jelly all next week.
Best regards,
Paul
I hope they will answer as journalists, or at least remember that they are journalists. I did receive an answer from them once before when I inquired about why they had not done a Kerry in Cambodia article. They said (I paraphrase) that just because I hadn't seen one didn't mean they weren't investigating. Of course we all remember the 8 seconds or so of investigation they did before running in front of cameras to demand GWB's national guard records. And I know we all feel better knowing that our President he had a couple of cavities while serving in Alabama.
We have Osama's medical records - why not our Senator's?
"Kerry & Vietnam...truth matters" exactly. Many people have e-mail lists. This needs to go out.I agree !! Great pic, IPWGOP! I'm sending it out on my email list.
Please let me know if you want ON or OFF my General Interest ping list!. . .don't be shy.

bump!!!
Brilliant!
In the words of Jack Nicholson (A Few Good Men?)...
"You can't handle the truth!"
BTTT
Personally, I doubt he will ever release even his service records. I believe he knows very well that, in light of what is now known, those records will hold him up to public ridicule. Even if we put immense pressure on him and on the media, I believe he would rather look like he's hiding something than produce the damning information that is surely in that record.
I'll settle for that. He's made claims about his combat performance and serious questions have been raised by credible people about those claims. When he fails to defend himself by releasing those records, especially after Bush released his, he will look bad to undecided voters.
Excellent!

a bump for this thread. . .
You wrote such a great letter; wondering if you heard (yet) from the 'Guardians of truth'?
Nope - haven't heard a thing. Sent one to Russert as well. It's really troubling how they've closed ranks behind Kerry.
