It's an ambush. Wayne LaPierre vs. Every anti-gun zealot in the EU. I think the debate is in London.

It's enemy territory: I think it's a felony if you allow your dog to bark at a cat in England.

I think it is a pay-per-view event...

It is a pay per view event and is not available on DISH or Direct TV.

Just like everything else Wayne and his money grubbing companions at the HQ of NRA do it'll cost you extra. A debate on gun control on PPV. Priceless.

Nice touch I say.

"Gun-rights advocates assailed the United Nations Feb. 21 after it was revealed that security officers for Secretary-General Kofi Annan may be illegally carrying automatic weapons. Annan and other UN officials have called for worldwide gun control. “It’s the height of hypocrisy,” said John Velleco of Gun Owners of America. “The UN wants to regulate small arms worldwide, but apparently that doesn’t apply to them.” The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms is investigating Annan’s guards for carrying German-made MP5 machine guns."

What, you expect them to run the worldwide fight against the UN gun-grabbers for free?

Money doesn't grow on trees, you know, and the gun industry is already on the ropes in this country thanks to frivolous lawsuits.

If people are willing to pay to see two powerful men beat each other senseless, why wouldn't gun activists pay to see Wayne LaPierre mop the floor with a bunch of Euroweenie gun-grabber pansies?

UN gun debate? The authoritarian mentality of United Nations is what led The Founders to the writing and adoption of the 2nd Amendment. My answer to the UN is to invoke "Rule .308". SOB's.

“The UN wants to regulate small arms worldwide, but apparently that doesn’t apply to them.”

No, they don't. There's your mistake. They don't want to regulate guns in Rwanda, or Sierra Leone, or mountain Pakistan. Too difficult. They just want to regulate guns in the fat, rich, stupid, tax-paying USA.

Low hanging fruit. Its a bit like the old joke about the guy looking for his lost keys under the street light. When asked where he lost them, he replied, "in the alley, but I'm looking here because that's where there's light."

You're right. The UN is so fat, bloated and corrupt, that if it was a person, he couldn't regulate his bowels.

Say what you like but remember that the NRA is the lightning rod and catches all the anti-gun hell aimed at gun owners.

Who can remember when the NRA caught hell over the Robert Kennedy killling in 1968? They and they alone managed to save gun owners from the curse of registration and future confiscation. We may have lost a little in 1968 but we did not loose the whole pot!

I'd like to steal that and use it for a tagline, if you don't mind.

I never used to think so, but now I believe "Rule 308" may actually be needed in my lifetime. Not sure yet if it will apply to internal or external enemies.

The second UN troops set foot on SOVEREIGN US soil, Rule 308 will be invoked by many, many armed patriots. I pray it's not needed in our lifetimes, but sometimes the Lord's answer to a prayer is NO.

On internal vs external enemies....BOTH.
