Go Thune! Go Diedrich!
Just got an automated call from Thune. Says Giuliani will be in Aberdeen for a Thune rally tomorrow night!

I am afraid the assumed #s for Rep. and Dem. in the poll are just a little too much tilted to favor Republicans. This comes out in the article. It's still an encouraging poll, however.

If Diedrich is ahead...can obly mean that BUsh has a HUGE lead, and there's a lot of straight ticket voting..This was predicted to happen across the country last month by Michael Barone..

A sweep would be great. Not only would it end the reign of the insufferable Daschle, it could also put a serious road block in the way of Herseth, or whatever the name is, from joining the Senate herself someday. She would be the obvious Dem nominee if Daschle or Johnson decide to retire.

I've mouthed this before, but it bears repeating. The more EVERYONE ACROSS THE NATION does to help George W Bush will ultimately help with eliminating Tom Daschle. It may be small but it will help defeat Daschle I believe.

I think South Dakotans may have decided the whining has got to stop. I, personally, am sick of it.

Oh man! If Tom Daschle could be deposed and I died a day or two after the election, I would die a happy man.

I think Herseth's 'I'd vote for Bush in the House if the electoral college was tied' just shunk her ship. It was so obviously a blatant pander that it'll turn off a LOT of her supporters. Keep in mind, I know Bush haters are rare in SD, but they arn't non existent, and she only won by 1000 votes last time.

Anyhow, I remain hopeful on both of these, but I'm very worried about dead and non-existent indians deciding both races.

Thune has a much more presentable Senatorial persona. He gives off strong vibes of values, morality, hard work, and Mid-Western decency.

AND HE DOESN'T GOSHDARN WHINE!!!

Thune is "right purty", too. Sure would like to see "Princess Stephanie" go down. She only decreed her tie-breaking vote for Bush to hopefully garner some Republican votes here. Tain't gonna work.
