In 1994, Talk Radio and Rush Limbaugh played an important role in the "Republican Revolution."
By 2004, "bloggers" assumed part of the traditional role of the press, by investigating and checking facts as a "truth squad." It changed the nature of the Presidential and congressional races.
FreeRepublic was instrumental in the political "truth squad." We can proudly point to our role in debunking the CBS 60 Minutes hit piece based on fraudulent documentation. We can claim that we were among the very first citizens who supported the Swift Boat Veterans. And many, many other issues have been daylighted to greater scutiny on this board.
Republicans and conservative all over this nation owe FreeRepublic and Jim Robinson a debt of gratitude!
