This is a breaking news situation.
A man entered a courtroom in the Fulton County Courthouse this morning and shot a Fulton County Sheriff's deputy, a clerk and a judge; there are reports from both WSB and WAGA, the judge is deceased.
The perp has carjacked multiple vehicles -- now on his third -- and is still at large.
I've just come from downtown Atlanta, and the city is a madhouse.
CNN just had a texas girl on in a courthouse there.
She was hysterical, said "this is Texas and I am a SAS" and pointed to her gun onn her hip. CNN cut her off like she said doo doo or something. She was adorable!

Yeah, like DUUUUUUUUH! Of course he'll get the death penalty, especially since he can also be tried in Federal court, if I heard Judge Napolitano right earlier this evening. If one jury doesn't give it to him, the other one will.

You are most likely correct.
However, where are the -layers- of defense one would expect?
Stuff happens and we have to plan for it. Will our PC world forbid a clear headed and frank review of this event?

Procedures are in place for a reason. In this case, we have 4 reasons and they are all dead.
I doubt anybody on this thread is glad that she received a GSW or that she's probably going to suffer mental anguish. But it's a fact that she went ahead and broke procedure, compromising the safety of everybody in that courthouse. I couldn't care less what her rationalization was.
I like the house porn label too and plan to steal it from the poster,,do you thinkhe has trademarked it?

Before I got home, apparently, there were helocopters all over my part of town. My son was out and about and said they were flying around like a flock of birds. The usual speed traps that line the interstate on my commute were nowhere to be seen and you couldn't find a cop anywhere. None of the million dollar boondoggle traffic signs on the interstate gave any traffic info. They were all flashing the perp's license number. This city is in super panic mode and this guy is nowhere to be found.
I have a friend who fits this description and is working night and day this time of the year at various places around Atlanta. He already had an incident where he was pulled over and thrown to the ground because he fit the des. of a recent bank robber. I haven't talked to him but I bet he is on pins and needles driving.
I suspect not.

How many times has this scenario taken place because the officer was female? If there is some pattern we should address it. As they say in MO, show me.
