I just love Spring here on the lake. The sun just made another spectacular display rising over the water. It promises to be another fine day!

Morning FRiends so far assembled.. I am present & ready for "duty"..

loved the violet centered presentation.. the sayings were whimsical & the whole thread the aroma of femininity.. LOVED IT.

I spend a great deal of my free time in woods with Oliver.. and I have done so, since a little girl. The wild flowers in the woodlands are always beautiful and the violet is one of the early/first ones here.. along with dandelions & a few very tiny/inconspicuous (but really very pretty) wild flowers.

Thank you Mama.. I will work in yard a few hours when it warms up & then out for some play after lunch.. Even though it is warmer, I will put on some chili in the Crockpot.. I love chili .. mine however is made with soy/crumbles.. Most people who taste it don't realize it and I once even won a chili cook-off with it!!!

I really like woodland wild flowers, too. My favorite (besides the violet) is trilliums. While they just covered the floor of the woods in Wisconsin, they are nowhere to be seen down here in AL. So I planted some. Now, for the second spring in a row they have come up. A little bit of Wisconsin spring way down here in Alabama---I love it! Now if I could just get some Texas bluebonnets to grow here....and some indian paintbrushes, too.
