.
As FReeper Rockitz noted on a previous thread:To: RaceBannon
Ann doesn't miss a beat.
She put this on her own site. It's a picture of Time's picture editor, Mary Anne Golon with some equally unflattering distortion.

Rockitz (After all these years, it's still rocket science.)
Certainly some creative FReepers could help Ann exact her revenge......by posting even MORE unflattering "distorted" images of the TIME magazine staff on this thread.

I think Ann putting the distorted pictures on her site makes her look petty and vindictive.
Time magazine being unfair to a conservative? Ann is too bright to be surprised at that.
So when is it time to say enough is enough? When is it time to call 'em on it? This is a battle Coulter has picked and I applaud her for it.

Even with the deliberate distortion. . .Anne still looks better than any woman from the Demrat camp. . .

I would do it if I knew how. All I can do is post a picture from Google and put a caption on it...
That's a start. :o)
I found this potentially "distortable" image via Google on www.thefutureoflife.com/speakers/kelly.htm:
James Kelly
Conference Host/Managing Editor,
TIME Magazine
James Kelly joined TIME in 1978, writing for the magazine's Nation and World sections in his early years. After a stint as media critic, he was named deputy editor and then editor of the World section in 1988. Several years later, he became the magazine's deputy managing editor. Mr. Kelly became TIME's managing editor in January of 2001, the 15th chief editor of the magazine since its founding in 1923.

Ann is seriously having fun exposing liberals with double standards.
The cover's not as bad as imagined. The hoopla over it might sell more copies.

Time has a long standing history. I would venture to say that you can tell whether a magazine leans to the left or right by the way subjects are portrayed on the cover shot.
Do you recall the photo of Fidel Castro? Compare that to such photo's as Newt Gingrich and George W. Bush.
I read portions of the article featuring Ms. Coulter. Now, who's being divisive? No agenda there(sarcasm/on) If you're reading garbage, expect trash.

I don't understand how the picture is distorted?
She doesn't look that different from any other pictures of her that I've seen.
She said on Drudge that she thought that the cover image made her feet look HUGE.
And, the very low angle from which it was apparently taken makes her torso look virtually nonexistent.
And, many here (inspired by Doug from Upland) think that the picture makes her look child-like -- perhaps as an homage to Lily Tomlin's
Edith Ann character on Saturday Night Live:

Why would anyone be surprised. The old media knows that many of their readers never get past the covers of their mostly predictable stuff.

The main thing I would disagree with in your long "analysis" is that in point # 1 I think Ann would have no problem whatsoever looking great and sexy since she knows she is anything but the dumb blond type. Besides that I don't know any conservative women that have a problem looking good or sexy. Many are just that.
