The family of a Marine who was killed in Iraq is furious with Lt. Gov. Catherine Baker Knoll for showing up uninvited at his funeral this week, handing out her business card and then saying "our government" is against the war.

Absolutely true when it's a heinous deed.
An Exception is the rare occasion, when the politician has done something good. Then 99% Republican or non-Democrat.

How 'bout sooner, like when she attends a family member's funeral, and someone passes out flyers explaining why the Democrats support the terrorists!
Sounds like a plan. I'm sure however that the old buzzard won't show her face at one of them there funeral "functions" in the near future.

Yeah I agree. You want to say, "Unbelievable!", but you can't anymore. I suppose if they'll treat one of their beloved, Wellstone, the way they did at his "memorial", a stranger, especially military, wouldn't give them a second thought.
The democrats love to paint the right as religious fundamentalists, but they are just as fervent in their worship of leftist politics. Where we have God, family & country, they have leftist politics.

My brother SSGT.JOE GOODRICH died bravely and courageously in Iraq on July 10, 2005 serving his country and the freedom of America....... Joe was very loved and touched the lives of everyone he met. The line at the funeral home was overwhelming with people who wanted to tell his family how Joe had impacted their lives...I saw every walk of life come through that door. From young to old, military, fireman, police officers, and all proud Americans.We are still receiving cards and letters telling us how proud they are of JOE ,what he ment to them and what he did in their lives.This also from people we know and never heard of or met.
Joes funeral service was held on July 19, 2005.....It was the same turnout also. One uninvited guest made an appearance. Katherine Baker Knoll ... She sat next to a family member. During communion of the service, she asked who my family member was. When she was told Knoll felt this was an appropriate time to campaign and impose her will on us. Knoll passed her business card and said " I want you to know OUR Government is against this war. I attend 90% of these functions"
I am repulsed Knoll considers a Marine funeral " a function". I am also amazed and disgusted Knoll finds a Marine funeral a prime place to campaign. Knoll also it finds a need to let grieving family members know our government is against the war during this time. A time when we and America our so proud of SSGT GOODRICH who made the ultimate sacrifice for his country and all service men laying down their lives for our freedom and government. A time when he sacrificed his life so Knoll had the freedom to pick and choose when she wanted to pass her business card. A sacrifice so Knoll can spend tax payers dollars to attend " functions" and insult the memory of Joe and all Marines. A sacrifice so Knoll has the freedom to run for elected office. I Find Knoll obviously has no compassion for this country or it's people or it's Brave service men and their families.So how can a women, and I'm being nice referring to her as a woman, elected to LT Governor, be able to govern the people of Pennsylvania. I find she would be better suited Holding office in Iraq over the terrorists. She obviously has found respect for them. For she makes it a point to show NO respect for Our Marines, their family, The people of Pennsylvania and all of America.
I would like MS.KNOLL to answer for her actions. Please Ms.Knoll Tell JOE GOODRICH"S wife why she will never hold her husband again or kiss him goodnight, take a vacation or celebrate an anniversary if our government is against the war. Tell his parents why they won't see him smile, celebrate Christmas or watch him make a family of his own.Tell his nieces and nephews why Uncle Joe will never put them on his shoulders again.Tell his brother why he will never talk to his best friend again, work on a car with him or call him just to talk. Tell ALL people who's lives JOE has touched why they can't thank him personally. Most of all tell America why a dedicated, honorable Marine, who loved his country, the freedom it stands for and all of it's people why he made the ultimate sacrifice so willingly. Since "our government is against this war"?
Ms Knoll you are a disgrace and you should be ashamed to even raise your head. If you would like, take the tax payers money and get a flight to Iraq and find a nice hole to crawl into with the terrorist. Since you seem to have no compassion for this country. I bet I can even get you a Marine escort to drop you there.You may have the elected position for now. But we as Americans and Pennsylvanians have the freedom to boot you out next election thanks to My brother Joe and all service men fighting to give us that FREEDOM.... I ask all who read this to think next election on whats important to you. And remember why you have the freedom to make that descion.
