Today I encountered PETA protesting at the Kentucky Fried Chicken in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I just could not let this stand unopposed so an emergency FReep was let loose on the PETA morons, much to the delight of the business owner and local ranchers........

EXCELLENT!

As a side note, my daughter is vegetarian, but not a PETA person. She did work for the ASPCA until she found out that they prevent cruelty by NOT FEEDING the animals, then KILLING THEM.

Anyway, my wife and I found a great restaraunt, a Brazillian Barbeque. I had never experienced a place like it...you go up to the All you can eat style spread to get the side items, then return to your table and wait for the waiter to come by with the meat. He comes to the table with a hunk of meat which if you want, he'll shave a slice off for you. Prime Rib, New York Strip, Deer, Bison, Wild Turkey, Duck, and many more.

My daughter is not militant and the atmosphere is very nice, so we thought it would be fun for her and her fiance'.

Since our last visit there, they redesigned the place. We walked in, there were hides and heads of nearly every animal you can imagine. The utter shock on my daughter's face was priceless. She ran out in tears. It was funny, but I didn't dare laugh else I would have to face the wrath of both wife and daughter, but the fiance' and I had one of those special bonding moments where we both knew the other was saying, "Don't dare laugh, no matter how hilarious it is."

Invite your neighborhood PETA protester to a place like that.

Nicely done. I saw a pair of young women, obviously brainwashed by PETA, picketing in front of a KFC this past Saturday. Our lovely Louisiana summer had produced a bright, cloudless, HOT day (with a large side order of humidity).

These two PETA operatives were already receiving many rude hand gestures from passing motorists when I happened upon the scene, and the fools had come unprepared for the withering heat. They had no bottled water or other beverages that I could see.

The KFC manager had noticed that, too, and I busted out laughing when I saw him standing in the air-conditioned comfort of his restaurant, smiling and waving at the PETA girls while taking exaggerated sips from a large soft drink.

When I passed the same spot about an hour later, the PETA chicks were nowhere to be seen. I reckon they had their fill of the blistering heat, the manager's taunting and all those extended middle fingers, and decided to find something else to do.

I'll be there today. Um, fried chicken. And you all should know that the location is where the first KFC was built. My grandpa has fond memories of eating there as a kid. PETA= People for the Eating of Tasty Animals.

Woo-hoo!

As a grandson, son, and brother of butchers (meatcutters for those of you in Rio Lindo), I thank you.

Oh, yeah. I also had a Grandmother who raised chickens. From time to time, she would take a plump one into her basement and chop its head off to cook it for supper. Mmmm, tasty.

Great FReep account!! Post pictures, please.

I must lead a dull life because these threads always get me excited. Nothing like real action, spontaneous and in-their-face.

'Then I would yell out to the passing cars "Finger Lickin Good!" and wave my drumstick in the air.'
Epic.
