The photo Cindy Sheehan did not want the world to see: President Bush plants a consoling kiss on the cheek of grieving antiwar protester Cindy Sheehan last year at Fort Lewis, Washington.
Mrs. Sheehan is staging a protest vigil in Crawford, Texas demanding a second meeting with President Bush to demand an explanation for why her son, Army Spc. Casey Sheehan, was killed in Iraq a year ago April.
The photo of the president consoling Mrs. Sheehan, and a companion photo from the meeting, used to be hosted on Mrs. Sheehan's tribute site to her son. The site, called Casey's Peace Page also contains information about Mrs. Sheehan's antiwar and anti-Bush activities.
However, the photos were removed some time ago, but the hosting page and captions were left there until this week when they were removed along with a copy of the now-controversial Vacaville Reporter article, after that article which contradicts Mrs. Sheehan's current account of her meeting with the president was publicized by the Drudge Report.
The images were found in Google's image cache by Freeper Hipaatwo.
Possibly she was all for his joining the military in the first place ... but then vehemently against it when he rejoined in 2004. (I guess she offered to go with him to Canada). By that time he'd already established himself and even said "I want to go back and be with my buddies". He was not afraid of going back to Iraq.
The entire world's newspapers and T.V. stations are using this media whore's picture and words.
You're not a Conservative, you don't belong here, and your posts insulting the rest of us are disgusting; to say the least.
Exactly. Two peas in a pod.....
Of course you don't. If it can hurt President Bush, you're all for it. Yet you want to give off the facade, much like Sheehan, that you are above board and just asking honest questions.
Bull!
If the left sympathizes with the terrorists, at what point will they begin using their tactics, i.e., human suicide bombings?
screenshot exceded bandwidth.. anyone care to help this guy out with hosting it?
I know I am! I can't stand lies or liars.
We have to make our voices heard here in support of our troops.
And now wise guy on this forum saying it's not important to do so will silence us.
The left isn't going to win this battle.
For those of you too young to understand this reference go check out pix of Jane Fonda circa: Vietnam War.

Well, I was wrong. I just looked it up, she was not aware that he'd joined in 2000 and was totally devastated when he told her.
Maybe that's part of the problem here.
Maybe this boy is too young to remember the death and pain of American soldiers caused by one woman.
Or maybe he's just a stupid anti-American leftist, who doesn't care.....
Too bad you couldn't find a bigger one showing her facial expression, but I'll take what we can! This definitely diverges from Sheehan's litany of complaints that GW treated her badly, was distracted, and wasn't the slightest bit personable. The kiss on the cheek is the shot heard around the world right now.
She's "acting like it's a party"
How inappropriate!
I'll buy a beer for whoever can get a hold of the original 608x410 pixel image.
