H.O.T. Chapter of FR Heading Back to Crawford (Special 8/17 PM Update pending)

The Heart of Texas Chapter is planning a return to Crawford on Saturday, August 27. Our purpose this time will be to team up with the Move America Forward Caravan, which will originate in California, and pick up supporters from across the country. We hope that with this much advance notice, more Freepers will be able to join us this time.

I have spent most of the day trying to contact someone at MAF, but they are so busy they haven't gotten back to me yet. However, it shouldn't be hard to notice a caravan of buses and cars in Crawford, so we will be able to jump in with them with no problem.

I spoke with Police Chief Donnie today, and he really seemed happy to hear that we were coming back. We won't need a permit this time, as we will be a tag on to the MAF permit.

Everyone with suggestions for signs, tactics, etc. please chime in. This will be another Support the Troops Rally--but MAF will probably get in a little Sheehan bashing--which is fine with me!

My husband can't get out of his vehicle to pump gas or run into a convenience store for a soda in his uniform. I seriously doubt anyone in the military would break this rule, especially for a televised support rally.

They could show up wearing shorts and t-shirts, however.

I'm not so sure photos showed up, Brad Gramma, but some local Crawford Mom tried to fix the crosses runover. Cindyites said not. I'd post the photos again, but they were right the first time.

Just a suggestion, but signs and placards reacting to THEIR message just allows the citizens of Cindystan to frame the issues. If I were able to be in Crawford (rather than 2,000 miles away) I'd focus on what we are FOR and who we're supporting. FWIW

Thanks, they are not just there, but new. I'm not quite sure how it didn't work. I did NOT save them to photobucket, but linked from yahoo photos.

I found them in yahoo news photos. But they were in a group of more than 130. I don't know. I doubt they are gone, though.
