The Navy has hired Houston-based Halliburton Co. to restore electric power, repair roofs and remove debris at three naval facilities in Mississippi damaged by Hurricane Katrina.
Halliburton subsidiary KBR will also perform damage assessments at other naval installations in New Orleans as soon as it is safe to do so.
KBR was assigned the work under a "construction capabilities" contract awarded in 2004 after a competitive bidding process. The company is not involved in the Army Corps of Engineers' effort to repair New Orleans' levees.

I think I heard that nutjob on Coast-to-Coast the other day. He said-- think about it, the worst hurricane of '04 was named IVAN and this year it's KATRINA... I kid you not!
There's a reason why C2C is on so late.
Wasn't there a Hurricane Boris? What about Hurricane Mikhail Gorbachev? Does that ring any bells?

Here comes the mantra from the moonbats:
"Bush didn't sign Kyoto (ignoring, of course, the fact that the Sentate didn't ratify it in the first place) so that there would be more hurricanes. Eventually one of them would hit New Orleans, cause a levee break and wipe out the City so that Halliburton could get the contract. And the refineries would be wiped out so Bush's oil friends could get rich."
I'd think this was sarcasm if I hadn't heard that idiot Civil Rights advocate Guyot telling O'Reilly tonight that if you were going to arrest looters for stealing TV's you should also arrest the police for stealing medicines and bringing them to the hospitals.
The left has hit bottom and continues to dig.

Pathetic like a hopped up trucker pretending that he has secret classified Soviet information regarding weather control from 1949. Yeah.

Nah I think Halliburton should go through a lengthy 3 or 4 month bidding process for the government contract to rebuild New Orleans. Isn't it one of the leftwing mantras that Halliburton's no bid contracts are evil? And don't forget, they should perform an exhaustive environmental impact study before proceeding.

What is in your posted image (I don't surf with images enabled)?
If it's ANYTHING to do with HAARP - forget it ...
(Its TOO EASY to tell if HAARP is operating, simply locate to within 30 miles or so and 'tune' for a VERY robust signal between 3 and 10 MHz.)

The Q Continuum have that ability. That explains where the V.P. is, as well as the knowledge of Karl Rove. They must be Q.
