Small Counter Rally Shows Support for Troops Associated Press WASHINGTON Support for U.S. troops fighting abroad mixed with anger toward anti-war demonstrators at home as hundreds of people, far fewer than organizers had expected, rallied Sunday on the National Mall just a day after a massive protest against the war in Iraq. "No matter what your ideals are, our sons and daughters are fighting for our freedom," said Marilyn Faatz, who drove from New Jersey to attend the rally. "We are making a mockery out of this. And we need to stand united, but we are not." About 400 people gathered near a stage on an eastern segment of the mall, a large photo of an American flag serving as a backdrop. Amid banners and signs proclaiming support for U.S. troops, several speakers hailed the effort to bring democracy to Iraq and Afghanistan and denounced those who protest it.

400 eh?
Between this and the surly and short coverage of the pro-America rally in Crawford, I would have to agree with you. I rarely if ever watch Fox anymore.

This woman is fair and VERY balanced. She knows what's up.
Please use original titles.
Thanks.
Thanks, I'm kind of new here and learning.
Conservatives always = "far fewer than expected"
Lib-tards always = "as many or more than expected"

I was at Crawford and can attest to the fact that there were more than 3,000 people at that rally! According to the MSM, there were anywhere from 500 to 1000.
Same here. I stopped watching in August 2004, I couldn't take their election coverage another minute.
I wish people would quit fawning over Fox. If it weren't for Brit Hume, I doubt I'd watch it much at all. Once they might have been fair and balanced, but now they're just like everyone else. (They forget what it was that made them popular.)
"If it weren't for Brit Hume, I doubt I'd watch it much at all."
Ditto. He's the only one I watch now.
Looks like all news orgs are just parroting AP lame report

Yeah, I know, they did that after the Crawford Rally, too. But like I said, I was there and took photos and a news article to prove it. The one show here is where we had to walk to the Rally following the Pro-Troops caravan.

Then you may have seen me at the back of the big tent after I got all my photos taken. God gave me enough strength to get what needed to be done done, then when I sat in the back row with my beloved husband, David, the 3 mile walk in the heat (I am on a diuretic for Meniere's disease and subject to heat stroke) and agoraphobia hit all at once. God Bless the kind people who got me cooled off and medicated for the agoraphobia, and stayed with me until David went and got the car!
Im glad you made it ok it was HOT that day.
I was over along the fence onder the oaks by the BBQ
I may have gotten your photo. Lemme check.
