Joshua Sparling just got to Walter Reed last week and received ONE letter from someone writing in a child's printing. Among other things it told him to die. The soldier has the card on the wall of his room. I know FReepers can counter this despicable action with some of our own letters.

One thing I am sure of. This child, if it is a child, would be around 7-9 years old and someone had to at least give him the address of Joshua. He was not actiing alone.

I would so love to know the full back story on this. Is it an adult pretending to be a child? Is it from some sort of class project like that elementary school "community involvement" deal last week? Was the child brainwashed by shameless lefty wingnut parents? Or did he just think this was funny?

Me, too, MS.B....I found myself crying in the Hallmark store and continued to in my store. I startled my co-workers and my nose got all red.
