I heard General Sada on a local radio station this afternoon, and he said that when there was some natural disaster in Syria .. Iraq used it as an opportunity to move their WMD via commercial aircraft - using the disaster as a pretense - they loaded Iraqi aircraft with pretend supplies for the disaster and flew it into Syria - right under everybody's noses.

The General just wrote a book "Saddam's Secrets". Our local guy who interviewed him, Mark Larson, is a Christian, and after Mark read the book he discovered the General is an Asyrian Christian.

LOL!! back atcha!!

you are trying to pull something she said from over a year ago.

Wow, so that doesn't apply? This is all "breaking"??? Except you've been "breaking" this since 2004 when the BS first came out, again as part of the October Kerry surprise. Best part is, Shaw's a criminal and under FBI investigation, fired from DoD and his best "evidence" was "in my opinion..."

Old news. The only person that hasn't admitted as such is the President.

Yea, I know - the WMD were marked with big skull and crossbones according to this Iraqi general - who for some reason did not tell this info to the Americans during the WMD investigation or if he did tell it to them they found it not credible.

So the now out of work Iraqi general (what's up with Saddam employing all those Christians in high office in Iraq? ministers, generals, etc - I hope the new Iraq is just as pro Christian now that its in Shi'ite religous party hands) needs the money and write a book - a book saying Saddam had no WMD anymore would not sell - a conspiracy book which serves someone's interest would provide him money.

Saddam likes Christians. The last Iraqi leader who will ever place them in authority and protect them as things now look in Iraq.

Travis McGee! I read his books!!

Stellar, people like you are dangerous - because not only are you easily manipulated - you accept lies told by agents of Iran like Chalabi - who made us do Iran's dirty work in Iraq.

I never understood what my join up date has to do with anything to you types (the not so good at defending positions with logic, reason and facts types)? Do I need more time here to post a free opinion? This is the second time my join up time has been mentioned.

Is this some Freeper clique code like we find in High School that I don't know about?

This Shaw is your source? This Shaw bastard - out for a quick buck got our soldiers and allied Iraqis killed - he has more American blood on his hands than do this mythical super Russian spies in Iraq. Welcome to the real world bloody and unsexy world of death and war.

Iraq: Cellular Project Leads to U.S. Inquiry: A Pentagon official acted to award a contract to a group that included his friends.

WASHINGTON — A senior Defense Department official is under investigation by the Pentagon inspector general for allegations that he attempted to alter a contract proposal in Iraq to benefit a mobile phone consortium that includes friends and colleagues, according to documents obtained by The Times and sources with direct knowledge of the process.

John A. Shaw, 64, the deputy undersecretary for international technology security, sought to transform a relatively minor police and fire communications proposal into a contract allowing the creation of an Iraq-wide commercial cellular network that could generate hundreds of millions of dollars in revenue per year, the sources said.

Shaw brought pressure on officials at the U.S.-led Coalition Provisional Authority in Baghdad to change the contract language and grant the consortium a noncompetitive bid, according to the sources.

Shaw's efforts resulted in a dispute at the Coalition Provisional Authority that has delayed the contract, depriving U.S. military officials and Iraqi police officers, firefighters, ambulance drivers and border guards of a joint communications system.

That has angered top U.S. officials and members of the U.S.-led authority governing Iraq, who say the deaths of many Americans and Iraqis might have been prevented with better communications.

The Pentagon's Defense Criminal Investigative Services, a unit of the inspector general, began its investigation after two senior officials with the U.S.-led coalition authority reported that Shaw had demanded that they make the changes to the contract. They refused. Daniel Sudnick, who was the senior advisor to Iraq's minister of communications, the highest-ranking American in the ministry, and Bonnie Carroll, a chief deputy, resigned this month.

The inquiry into Shaw's actions is believed to be the first for a senior Pentagon official in connection with the massive $18.4-billion package funded by U.S. taxpayers to help rebuild Iraq.

According to contracting experts, Shaw's behavior raises several concerns.

First, contracting officials, not political appointees, are supposed to have full discretion when issuing government contracts. Second, promoting a private company led by friends could present conflict-of-interest issues.

Finally, criminal charges could result if there were any financial ties between Shaw and members of the consortium.

It's an old article found easily on blogs - so what now- the L.A. Times lied about Shaw - the source of this WMD Russian fable - being under investigation? Why is Shaw no longer in office? So fear of being exposed makes you lash out with insults?

Let me return the favor - Does George Soros pay you by the word to post false things here?

Now you are excusing your posting from "Corp Watch"...a commie blog. Your signup date and postings on this site say everything about you, the fact that you posted from that blog confirms it.

Shaw isnt the only source on this, I have told you. Ion Pacepa, a well respected man talked about this years ago.
The more interesting thing is how you and jb6 and the rest of the putin bootlickers are trying so hard to discredit this information. I guess the Kremlin is paying you well.

Even more information which cannot be discredited by you or the other soviets, shows Putin is our enemy (and is responsible for deaths of our troops):

"Treachery: How America's Friends and Foes are Secretly Arming Our Enemies", by Bill Gertz is also an interesting book. This well respected reporter says that 11 million arms (over 100 different types) were sold to Iraq by Russia before the war. THese weapons killed our troops.

There is no question that the Russian effort to remove Iraqi WMD systems was the most successful intelligence operation of the 21st century. The Russians were able to move hundreds of tons of chemical, biological and nuclear materials without being discovered by CIA satellites or NSA radio listening posts.

"There is a clear sense on how effective they were," noted Shaw.

"The fact that the CIA did not know shows just how successful the Russian operation was," he concluded.

So I am the quisling for stating that "No way the Russians are better then us", eh? Defending American intel abilities over those of Putin's Russia makes me a Putin booster?

What a twisted upsidedown way of thinking.

I guess I am a traitor for saying no way the Russians could ever pull this off behind Uncle Sam's back.
