Interview With Freeper Joseph Shahda

In Shahda’s own words:

I feel a great sense of duty to do the translation of some these documents because that is the least I can do in time of war to serve the United States of America to whom I am in eternal debt and gratitude, and what I am doing is a small pay back toward this debt that I can never fully repay no matter what I do. My efforts to do the translation pale in comparison to the great efforts and sacrifice that our brave troops are doing on a daily basis.
I asked Shahda during a phone interview with him on March 29, 2006, why he thought the government didn’t translate the documents.

A denizen of the conservative web site Free Republic, Shahda’s profile lists the documents that he has already translated, fully ten of them.

Proof positive I miss more good stuff than I catch.

Thanks, Mr. Shahda!

I've got some reading to catch up on.

I am very proud.

And Joseph is so handsome and so personable. Were I a younger woman I'd have him right in my cupid crosshairs.

What a well written article. I really enjoyed it. When I read of people like jveritas, and their respect, love, and sense of duty they feel for America, while not having been born here, I am reminded why we are the greatest country in the world.

It's because we have the greatest people in the world! It's a magnet for great people!

:-)

It looks like it might have been a pretty good article, but my browser can't load it correctly. There's a big, blank square in the middle of the article, and there's no option for "printable version" so I just gave up. (One of the problems with having to "click on the link for the rest of article.")

Good interview. This is historic and Joseph is a true American hero for taking the time to so meticulously translate them for all of us.

jveritas is undeniably and unequivocably DA MAN!
He's the type of person I want our government to hire as I know he only serves the best interests of all citizens.
