Defenders of the popular columnist and constitutional scholar Anne Coulter have recently dismissed charges of plagiarism put up against the brilliant author by reactionary activists.
But can these charges be dismissed without further examination?
In one striking bit of evidence, her detractors point out that her description of liberals as confused cone-heads wallowing in their own fecklessness, bears a striking resemblance to accusations made on Freerepublic.com that liberals are fraudulent elitists submerged in congealed thinking. The similarity is haunting.
An operative at the Democratic National Committee, who owns a thesaurus, points out that when most persons picture liberals in their minds, the phrase deluded, effeminate quislings, often springs to mind, and that these very words can be found in this same publication that Coulter once referred to, when she also noted that Democrats are perfidious enablers of terrorists.
Further casting doubt on the author is the majority belief in the country that her use of the words infidelity and disloyalty, which are also repeatedly found in the private correspondence of many of the Kennedy wives to their therapists, is, in the words of Tom Daschle, saddening and perplexing in its similarity. Can this, too, be a coincidence?
When an author like her uses the words, perplexed effete snobs, overcome with their own fecklessness,, the very words that so many around the world have thought privately, is it no wonder that suspicion arises that she is somehow tapping the stream of consciousness of many authors?
As a famous Democrat should have said, The only thing we need to deny is denial itself...
Surely Anne cannot continue to deny that she has ever looked at that thesaurus?
Okay, I confess I wrote Coulter's book from my own non-best seller, Liberals Without a Clue.
I read this before...somewhere....
With a little work, this post has potential to grow into a masterpiece of subtle sarcasm.
Ann Coulter didn't write her book and this is a real picture of her I took last night for my new line of "Isthisnickcool Lingerie". As you know, I made millions off of my line of Bill O'Reilly vibrators (The Spin Starts Here) so I've taken some $$$ and teamed up with Ann to do some hot lingerie. It's true, you just read it on the Internet....
I first read Ann Coulters book way back in 1969 when the world was at peace and rainbows were everwhere - it was a Philip K.Dick novel "Do democrats dream of elctrocuting sheep?" or something like that. Man, they were hazy days.
Because the Dims can't refute her charges they will attack her.
It's all they've got. Attack, attack, attack. Maybe nobody will notice the book.
Ann has also admitted to using the words; and, is, the, and brocolli, without attribution.
"brocolli" wasn't he the Italian Prime minister or something?
Nope, but he did make a bunch of james bond films.
Just wondering. Are you calling her Anne instead of Ann to avoid charges of plagiarism yourself? :-)
No, it's more because I am a bone-head at times!
Thanks for the reply. :-)
The problem that most of us have, is that we usually can only spare a few minutes during work hours to express our sarcasm. Have to, to get the taste out of our mouths before lunch. We really open up... on weekends! :-)
Thanks for the comment.
In another striking similarity, this Anne Coulter sounds very much like our own Ann Coulter... Eerie....
How about a brain marrow transplant? Special this week only, a Dollar 2 ninety-six...
"Gee.. I hope this hasn't upset anyone..."
You never know what seems important, Anne... and Ann.
:-)
