If those last two counties continue to vote as they have, the pubs will win. It will be close however. Talk about some close races overall.

Oops. Calculation error. Burns needs to do better in Gallatin.

Well, that was quick. This just in.

Tester 183,386
Burns 181,879

Burns now only 1,507 votes behind. 96 percent of precincts reporting.

Montana could be the Florida of 2006.

Virginia is NOT LOST. The absentee ballots have not been counted yet, there are a lot of military absentee votes left to count and they tend to be strongly GOP.

Really? I voted absentee, so my vote hasn't been counted. Aren't the number of absentee votes pretty high this year?

Wow. Did not know there was two more pages of counties. Been having trouble with CNN web pages all night. They look nice and have lots of info but difficult figuring them out. Looks like Yellowstone and Lake will cancel each other out. The Republican should gain 400-500 from Gallatin 33% reporting. It all comes down to Meagher county for control of the US Senate. Burns will need to pick up about a 1,000 there.

Look, let´s assume the military has 200,000% soldiers abroad who voted. VA has 7,2 m people, = ca. 2,5% of the US population. So let´s even say that 5% of the US soldiers are from VA - that makes 10,000 votes. Let´s assume 25% of them vote Dem, 75% vote GOP, that makes 7,500 votes for the GOP, but 2,500 votes for the Dems, so VA is still lost. The race is more close in MT!
