As has been explained to you, they do not hold the same positions. Secondly, equating the ambition and venom that Hillary represents to Giuliani is not only laughable, but spits on the research that BKO did.

It is your position that does not compute.

Obama will turn out just like Jimma and Bubba and that is a front. He absolutely will not be working for the American people or this country. That's all Jimma and Bubba were. They were not Presidential material and Obama is not either. The same thing will happen. Obama could be elected for all the wrong reasons. This has worked twice for the dimwits in the past. I for one would like to see it corrected. There will be a lot of things said on both sides; but if we choose a good candidate and stand behind that candidate; we should win.

You can come shampoo my office when you get done. I'm sick today and just mostly hanging out here. I put a diet coke in my freezer and it exploded when I took it out. What a mess.

I'm not trashing the Brits.

Sorry, Gramma, but I'll contest those who want us to nominate a liberal and destroy the GOP at every step.

If you remove that nutcase that is the mayor of London maybe we'll lend you Rudy for a bit to clean the place up.

Out of the present declared candidates, Giuliani stands the best chance of defeating the Democrat. Polls posted here consistently show that he leads over the Democrat contenders.

It appears the non-members are smarter than the members so far. Non-members 80% Hunter-members 74.4% Hunter.

>>>>>>You may be a long time FReeper in good standing, Ivan, but your loud interference in our political process at some point becomes unseemly, IMO, seeing how you're not an American. Especially when the noise you're making is in favor of a guy to the left of your current Labor Party Prime Minister.<<<<<<

Oh please....I used to actively post, but its comments like yours that make me just lurk and comment mostly with people I know to be reasonable folks, willing to involve themselves in an exchange of ideas. MadIvan is a decent guy, has been extraordinarily supportive of the USA during the period after 9/11 and by all rights makes level headed replies to posts.

The FreeRepublic used to be an area where conservatives could discuss their opinions and with some exceptions never expected to be blasted by others. Lately, things are awfully acerbic.

Well, I guess that makes Giuliani a liar.

Dear MadIvan,

"But this is the leader of the Free World we are talking about,..."

Even still, most Americans consider it insulting when foreigners tell us whom we should elect.

Greetings MadIvan:

While not a Mayor Giuliani fan, we all lose when we insult each other, rather than discussing the pros and cons of the candidates.

Cheers,

You've been called on this before. Giuliani was referring to Bill, not Hillary, and Bill had stolen many Republican policies, including welfare reform.

This is what it looked like after I voted. ;o)

Duncan Hunter 76.0% 212

Rudy Giuliani 17.9% 50

Undecided 4.3% 12

Write-in 1.4% 4

Third party 0.4% 1

Leave blank 0.0% 0

Stay home 0.0% 0

Btw, are you going to that breakfast tomorrow morning? I wish I had got my invitation in time to go. I hope someone who does attend will tell us how it went.

There's nothing conservative about Giuliani. He's a flaming liberal.

You tell us how we're running our country into the ground all the time. If that didn't occur, you'd have a stronger case.

I am fully in favour of Reagan's 11th Commandment. However, the sheer amount of venom directed at Giuliani is disproportionate and not useful. Given his strength in the polls, it is suicidal when one is trying to avoid the Clinton Restoration.
