Why is it the GEICO caveman reminds me of Val Kilmer? Is he REALLY that hard up for work?

After reading your post, I have decided that we must live in The Preachy Age.

The terms are technologic descriptors of individual cultures, not time-block descriptors.

NEVER have any of the "Ages" referred to a specific time period, but are relative terms for the highest level of technology mastered in the construction of daily tools and weapons by the culture involved.

Thus, Stone age areas coexisted in time with Chalcolithic and Bronze areas, etc.

Atlanta is a curious choice.

Could be that the folks in Atlanta are used to those coming down from the North Georgia mountains, so a caveman might not cause as much as stir as he would elsewhere.

Of course, since people living in a Stone Age manner have either been dead for many centuries, or are living in remote jungles where English speakers are unlikely to go and where the inhabitants don't understand English anyway, it seems that the only people who could actually be offended by this term are are nutty PC liberals who devote their live to running around finding reasons to be offended by anything and everything. I wonder what are we allowed to call THEM ???

I love the music from that commercial. I go into a weirdly tranquil state when I hear it.

Bzzzzt. Sorry, I can't accept that answer, Ug. According to Discovery Channel the Persians invented the wheel.

What about two cool liberal parents who have these three boring conventional children, with the eldest a Reagan Republican?

But they may browse to a website on their blackberry that calls their people primitive and translate the page using babelfish.

Thaht's seeeew condescending.

My bad. I intended that for the Smooth Heads in the audience. I thought it would go right over your brow ridge.

Can I make it up to you with lunch over some Oysters Rock-a-feller and a couple of Rolling Rocks?

Maybe we should all just bury our heads in the sand and wait for the world to end. That's about the only way PC will ever go away.
