Will FR embrace socialism to make way for Rudy Giuliani as a Republican presidential candidate?
vanity | April 21, 2007 | Jim Robinson

Posted on 04/21/2007 6:42:25 PM PDT by Jim Robinson

We've got some real challenges facing us. FR was established to fight against government corruption, overstepping, and abuse and to fight for a return to the limited constitutional government as envisioned and set forth by our founding fathers in the Declaration of Independence and the Constitution and other founding documents.

One of the biggest cases of government corruption, overstepping and abuse that I know of is its disgraceful headlong slide into a socialist hell. Our founders never intended for abortion to be the law of the land. And they never intended the Supreme Court to be a legislative body. They never intended God or religion to be written out of public life. They never intended government to be used to deny God's existence or for government to be used to force sexual perversions onto our society or into our children's education curriculum. They never intend for government to disarm the people. They never intended for government to set up sanctuary cities for illegals. They never intended government to “rule” over the people and or to take their earnings or private property or to deprive them of their constitutional rights to free speech, free religion, private property, due process, etc. They never intended government to seize the private property of private citizens through draconian asset forfeiture laws or laws allowing government to take private property from lawful owners to give to developers. Or to seize wealth and redistribute it to others. Or to provide government forced health insurance or government forced retirement systems.

All of the above are examples of ever expanding socialism and tyranny brought to us by liberals/liberalism.

FR fights against the liberals/Democrats in all of these areas and always will. Now if liberalism infiltrates into the Republican party and Republicans start promoting all this socialist garbage, do you think that I or FR will suddenly stop fighting against it? Do you think I'm going to bow down and accept abortionism, feminism, homosexualism, global warming, illegal alien lawbreakers, gun control, asset forfeiture, socialism, tyranny, totalitarianism, etc, etc, etc, just so some fancy New York liberal lawyer can become president from the Republican party?

Do you really expect me to do that?

No offense, but why is something President Reagan said or did in the 1980’s fair game, but something Mayor Giuliani said or did in the 1990’s off limits?

“They run off to MadIvan’s temper tantrum induced site, post for a month or so, then they finally pull their opus stunts and intentionally get themselves banned here.”

It doesn’t suprise me that MadIvan would be behind some of this crap...he’s probably a ringleader of the cicrus they are trying to entertain over there. His tactics were not manly and I’ll leave it at that...yes trolls tell him I said hello and good riddance.

I’ll go ahead and apologize now, since this post is a little off topic, but it seems clear that one of the reasons FR seems less vibrant and healthy than it did years ago is that the funny has disappeared.

When I first found this place back in the early part of the 21st century (LOL) it was a daily occurrence to be ROFL’d off my chair by some ingenious joke, ZOT thread, or epic photoshop maneuver. Countless are the hippies whose ashes were scattered in the cleansing fires of a Registered-triggered nuclear LOLocaust.

I know I’m not alone when I say I miss seeing those ingenious pieces of art’d Registered. Who grounded the ROFLcopters, and when will they return?

No doubt you’re a busy person, but the place does seem a little sadder for their absence, and it would be a happy day if you were to start cranking out the pics again. ;)

Because it is a battle and I refuse to let scumbag demoncrap infiltrators win without a struggle. Phony cowards like you can be expected to give cowardly advice.

Your blindness is astounding. I've advocated consistently for courageously fighting for core conservative principles every day that I've been here.

You're the coward who stands on the periphery and snipes at those who are actually fighting the fight. You've added nothing positive to this forum that I'm aware of.

I understand what you are saying.A few weeks ago on another forum a woman faked her own death.I believe most posters on FR to be sincere and most that have left will be back.

It's not a probably, he started the site.

“No offense, but why is something President Reagan said or did in the 1980’s fair game, but something Mayor Giuliani said or did in the 1990’s off limits?”

Two reasons come to mind.

One. President Reagan is dead and not here to defend himself.

Two. Rudy IS here and is still saying the same things he has said in the 1990’s.

True. Provided that ‘relief’ isn’t at the expense of someone else’s demise

Demise is such a harsh word in this particular situation. His was a voluntary departure, not a firing.

What I read on this thread is that there are many here who are perfectly willing to let Hillary destroy our military and our entire country.

You don't read that, you chose to infer that You have less faith in our military and in the character of the Citizens of this country than most of us, if you think she would be able to parlay the presidency into producing that result.

Those of us who are unwilling to condone a political situation where both parties are liberal, believe that the American people will pull to the right under such circumstance. I am sad that you live in such dark fear and paranoia.

I missed one thing.

Rudy’s defenders find it easier to bash a ‘dead president’ than they do a ‘live liberal’.

“His was a voluntary departure, not a firing.”

Let’s just say his ‘demise’ was ‘self inflicted’.

“That is so true.”

No one is forcing you guys to stay here. And Registered, you can always go back to that ex-freeper colony over at WA. Seems they could use a little more activity over there. And when you go, please take the little grunt with you.

Now, my FReeper name is on a “list” to be bandied about and lied about. No matter that I actually said the OPPOSITE...!!!!!

No, it is not. Anyone who reads my full post will realize that you said nothing about voting for Hillary! over another candidate. That's why I put the disclaimer in there.

If you feel otherwise, I'm sorry for giving you that impression. But I certainly didn't intend my post to be read that way.

Again, I wish to continue a discussion with you, and address your points.

In my congressional district, Arizona-8, the Republican party ran a liberal in the primary, and supported him financially, mostly through the assistance of the national party and our openly gay, Rino incumbent Jim Kolbe. When the people spoke and nominated Randy Graf, a conservative known for opposing the open borders policies of the Bush Administration, the GOP pulled out, took their money, and went home. Graf lost to an ACLU liberal feminist, who is now my congresswoman, in a majority Republican district. The national GOP told us it was their way or the highway.

That is the type of gaping open wound you see here. It was a betrayal. And I had liberal freepers tearing down my candidate and then blaming me afterward for losing congress. I voted. I supported him in the streets, and they betrayed me and then blamed me for the loss.

The Giulianites wish to do the same and I’m going to fight them now, rather than during the general election.

Now, my main issues are opposition to political correctness religion and support of the Second Amendment. I care about abortion, but I have seen that as settled law for some time. If I can support the right to life I do and will, but my main issues are the right to speak as I please and defend myself, neither of which will be protected by Republican liberals in sheep’s clothing.

... I've advocated consistently for courageously fighting for core conservative principles every day that I've been here. ...

You have been doing so in such a manner as to accomplish the opposite. You've been fairly critiqued numerous times yet you fail to modify your divisive tendencies. The criticism only makes your disruption worse. Ipso facto, you want the division. You'll only be happy when your 'true conservatives' are less than 1% of the population and republicans lose in every general race.
