A Few of FR's Finest....Every Day

Warm Fuzzy Wednesday Poetry
Drained
Our Pretty One made a big mistake last night
Though from my Point Of View, it certainly is a delight
The urge to play with long needles and Big Plump String struck without warning
Leaving a wonderful surprise for Becky and me this Morning!
A stream of wound up Balls of Big Plump String left without Protection
Resting against a Wall have been known to cause many a Kitten Insurrection
Simply because the Temptation is just too great
To resist and cause a Curious Kitten to ingratiate
And crash the waiting party before it is too late
A stretch and a flick of the paw is all that's needed to get things started
And it's quite all right if more than one unraveling Ball becomes Departed
Leaving trailing Tails just aching for a Scratch or Bite
Since every Kitten knows that Big Plump String acts just like Kryptonite
The Red variety that causes Kittens to pounce and chase and careen
As Becky follows with paws going one way as her body sways and leans
The opposite direction which is a sight that is very rarely seen
As Puppy and Kitten crash and spill and tumble
With strands of Big Plump String entangling and all a jumble
The Green Kryptonite kicks in slyly and Animal Energy will surely sap
While the remaining untouched Balls create a splendid place for a Nap!

I have loved reading your poems and seeing your graphics, LadyJ..The titmouse’s song I always recognize and love..
Like kitty I have a few I can’t recognize at this time.
Kitty, I thank God you are enjoying your wonderful King’s Ranch.
We are in the middle of another big thunderstorm, downgraded from severe to heavy. I got tired of unplugging every thing so here I am..watching the storm and on the computer. The worst of this line of storms missed my area.
Prayers for those driving. Our lake is full we have had so much rain..so the ground is saturated already.

I just finished painting a bathroom. It was tough job. I think the owner before us used oil paint so it needed a couple of coats. Time for my Motrin. LOL
Aw, I love that sweet bird, the Titmouse. We are lucky to see them at the feeder often.

LOL..He looks like I feel about more thunderstorms possible tomorrow! There has been so much lightning in these storms and I am weary of unplugging the computer..
Of course there has been flooding and wind damge with these storms for many and two deaths by lightning strikes ..I feel very fortunate that I have only had heavy thunderstorms..and lots of rain.
