About the flag at the WH...from what I just read, I think it is an urban legend that the flag doesn't fly when he isn't in town.

I think that the Union Jack still flies not really up on my flags and I called the royal ensign not standard and now I am now sure whether I have got my terminology right.
I am sure the website I found the other evening on the British Royal family would give this information much better than me.
Whoops I did one of the things that is my pet hate called my flag the union jack it is the union flag only jack when at sea.
