It’ll likely develop into a F. Thompson in the middle/south vs. Romney in some northern states.
Guiliani may win just a very few states, but Thompson has the master plan, IMHO.

Not much talk of VPs at this point. They could make a strong bet with the right combination...

But there’s a long... time... till next Summer.
It might be coolest if no one had enough votes on the first ballot and that translated into a Thompson/Romney ticket. (Or, do you say, Romney/Thompson?)

I think we have to see the three leaders stand side by side before we know how this thing is going to play out.

For whatever reason, this Romney guy just doesn’t do much for me. I don’t think he’s all that conservative.

I am really not sure what are Romney’s core beliefs; I’m not sure if he is either.
Given that I would Guiliani over Romney because at least he is a good administrator.
Right now I am hoping Thompson runs. If he doesn't I really don’t no who’ll get my vote.

Too early to say. Mary Matalin has been known to have driven a campaign or two into the ground. Ask George Allen.

Pollster Andy Smith said that Romney is out-hustling the field with more visits to the Granite State, more ads and more campaign resources.
Guess who wants it more! Go Romney!

I think Romney would be an excellent complement to Thompson on many levels. And, an excellent, dynamic salesman -- and I mean that very positively.

Yeap, ole Romney is doing great in northeastern liberal states. In the rest of the country, Romney is sucking eggs.

No Thompson/Romney nonsense. Thompson is fine. No Romeny.

sure, but he could have recovered. But instead he spent the last month of the campaign running on a feminist platform at Mary Matalin’s advice.

I would expect New Englanders to do better in New England polls.
