Really? Are we talking about the same meaurements here?
60 pints is a shit load of beer - depending on how strong it was.
The ‘average’ night out would see anything from 5 to 9, a ‘heavy night’ as I would call it could see upwards of 20 perhaps - but to do that several days in a row is pretty heavy going.

After 60 pints:
1) he was still walking?
2) he knew where a hospital was?
I don't know the answers or good guesses to those questions, BUT...
in a prior life I worked in a toxicology/medical lab.
One duty was to do blood alcohol tests; in Oklahoma the driver
had the option of having two tubes of blood draw after being stopped.
The blood alcohol was determined by two sources: one tube to
the state lab, the driver could send the other tube to a reference lab
(which we were) via a doctor/hospital.
One day we got a tube that tested for 0.48% blood alcohol! The
boss called in the result to the submtting hospital...and
asked "Is the driver still alive" as that is getting into fatal
levels.
The hospital worker said "well, the highway patrol said they just
found a car TOTALLED, just wrapped around a big old tree on the
side of a local road. And they found the driver wandering around
in an booze-assisted haze about 200 yards from his car. Saying he
had no idea of where he was or how he got there."

This guy can't handle a case per day? I can bet he never placed cement
or framed a building!
Or done a bag of weed and popped more than a few white crosses!
My brother is pretty open-minded, but he said that booze/weed/drugs
just seem to be de rigeur for being a "made guy" in the
housing trade for a lot of the workers in our area!
I tell my brother: If these good old boys went sober, they'd
start to do crazy things like "measure twice, cut once" and obsessing
about all sorts of matters of precision and safety...
and end up in "paralysis by analysis"!!!

CVST - which can cause seizures, impaired consciousness, loss of
vision and neurological damage - strikes three or four people per
million, mainly children, every year in Britain.
The cause is generally unknown.
I wonder if they've done blood alcohols on all the kids.
Maybe they are just raiding the liquor cabinet after school.
Like one of my grade school friends!

I had a flashback to Norm when I saw your ping and the title. I figured he discovered the Warehouse Club three blocks down El Camino Real from his swimmin pool...

I have never had contact with him - I have heard of him, and someone said he was banned.
To: wideawake
So that works out to a little more than one case of beer a day in US terms. I've done near that each day for a three day weekend. Cubs-Cards series in St. Louis. Only weighed about 142 at the time.

applejack is what Americans call hard ciderHard Cider is fermented cider. Applejack and its cousin Calvados are distilled hard cider.

MadIvan was, I think, suspended, and his account is now active. I believe he got PO’d because some obnoxious types kept bashing Britain. According to his homepage he is wideawake. He is a high quality longtime Freeper, and founder of the lamented FreeBritannia website.
