I'm baaack! Thanks for putting up with my connection problems. After excoriating Comcast by phone yesterday and still being told I'd have to wait until Thursday for service, all of a sudden my transmission rates began to improve. By shortly after noon I was screaming fast again. Huh! They must have figured something out. Anyway, I'm taking a wait-and-see attitude, and have no intention of canceling Thursday's appointment. He can check my connections while here to insure there's nothing wrong locally.
