I like Hunter best, but Thompson is OK and may have a better shot to win.

As it stands now, yes. But this particular poll question assumes a 3-way runoff, and for Hunter to get into that position his campaign would've had to take off like a rocketship. ...and in that case he would have the best chance of winning, imo. ...being by far the most informed of the bunch on national security issues and the most conservative.

Romney’s supporters don’t foam at the mouth.

Did you see that DH has taken the lead with “non-members”?
***How can that be? No one outside of Free Republic has heard of him, right? He has no name recognition.

Obviously that isn’t the case any more. And it’s sad that we need non-members to show US the courage that WE Freepers should be displaying.

Support the CONSERVATIVE in the race. Period.

Vote principles in the primaries, vote against socialists in the general.
***That’s darn near tagline worthy.

In the primary, you vote for Willard and I'll vote for Hunter and when it comes to the general, I'll vote for Willard, too.

The messages are sent in the primaries to drive out the RINOs, but I'm all about keeping the White House from becoming a brothel again.

“Great plan except for the part where you will be stuck with a choice of Hilldabeast or her twin brother in the general election.”

We should be having this conversation a couple of weeks before the primaries, not now. John Kerry was at 4% in the polls 3 weeks before the primaries.

It’s still early enough to support Duncan Hunter. Way to early to give up, and Hunter is doing better in various polls.

He isn’t even invited to the next debate. Do you think at some point he will know his numbers aren’t going to go up anymore?

So, telling the truth and correcting your misrepresentation is a “spin for Willard”?

You’ve determined, for whatever reason, to irrationally oppose Romney. You’re certainly free to do so, but to avoid looking like a fanatic or bigot; please refrain from labeling those who disagree with you as dishonest. I certainly don’t appreciate being accused of spinning.

One thing I’m absolutely certain of is the GOP nomination race will be between Giuliani and Romney, with Romney winning all the early states before Florida.

Instead of following Forbes and Perot’s strategy of spending millions for national recognition; he has decided to concentrate on the early primary states. This is why his lead in NH and Iowa is not just holding steady, but increasing, whereas nationally he’s only around 12% (most people simply don’t know anything about him).

Here’s my prediction: Romney will win Iowa, New Hampshire, South Carolina, Nevada, Michigan, and Wyoming. Expect the polls in these six states to start showing a pro-Romney shift starting in late November to late December.

As he builds momentum, the rest of Florida will follow the Tampa and central Florida area and switch over to Romney. When this happens, everyone else but Rudy will drop out. Only McCain will endorse Rudy - the rest will endorse Romney.

Regardless of what happens, New York, New Jersey, and other Eastern states will endorse Rudy, but California and Texas will go to Romney (despite what their current numbers say).

At the end of the day, I believe Romney will win the nomination.

Why don’t we just watch and see what happens without resorting to ad hominems?

I'm supporting the only Republican candidate that many borderline democrats secretly wish was their candidate. And they will probably vote for him rather than for the national disaster the perfume sprayers are currently dragging around the neighborhood on a skid.

I'm talking about Fred, of course! The only Republican candidate with the X Factor. That special something that resonates with everyone who realizes that now is the time to begin that long march back to the government of our Founding Fathers. Fred Thompson is the man to carry the standard.

And I'm willing to bet what he is ringing a lot of bells with many old-time democrats.

Hunter is at 4% and climbing, while Fred’s campaign is showing signs of an implosion.
