Santa joins the FReepers: WK 102 Olney,MD 12-22-07: Op. Infinite FReep
Dec. 22,2007

Posted on 12/22/2007 6:19:49 PM PST by trooprally

The Olney FReeper were high spirits with Santa Claus on our corner this Saturday. And so were the passing cars. We seemed to get an extra amount of honks today.

BELOW LEFT: Santa Claus has arrived. He left immediately after the FReep to make it back to the North Pole to get his bag of gifts.

BELOW LEFT: Santa Claus with the Olney Gang. L - R: Cindy_True_Supporter, Lurker Bill's daughter, Fraxinus, SANTA, Halsey, Glenn and me. Lurker Gary showed up a little later. Lurker Bill was around somewhere. [Mrs] Trooprally is taking the pictures.

BELOW LEFT: Halsey and Glenn. BELOW RIGHT: Fraxinus

BELOW LEFT: Cindy_True_Supporter with me in back ground. BELOW RIGHT: Lurker Bill's daughter. Hey 3DJoy, recognize the stuffed animal in her left hand?

BELOW LEFT: Lurker Gary

And [Mrs] T took some real good pics of passing supporters. We had two cars pass by and take pics of us. [Mrs] T captured one of them. We also received two American salutes and NO one finger salutes. I guess the moonbats didn't want to get on Santa's bad side any more than they already are.

The moonbats barely made it out today. Apparently the "Quackers" had a big meeting today and some couldn't attend.

BELOW LEFT: Four of the 5 leftists. BELOW RIGHT: And two new signs. The one on the left says "War kills people and the planet". Ummm, no sh$$, so does terrorists and dictators. The others are self explanatory.

FINALLY

MERRY CHRISTMAS TO ALL!!!!!

REMINDER: Westminster, MD Gathering of Eagles and FReep next Saturday, Dec. 28, opposite Women in Black and Carroll County "Communist" Progressives, from 1 PM till 3 PM. PatioticMarineMom needs "boots on the corner". Her Marine son will also be there. He leaves for Iraq in March.

REMEMBER
Next Saturday, same place, Georgia Avenue, MD Rte. 97 and MD Rte. 108 in Olney

But a lot of verbal engagement in Olney is always welcome.

OUTSTANDING!!!

Over here on the Left Coast, three of us manned the corner of Sisk and Standiford, Modesto, CA from 10 am - 1 pm. This particular intersection experienced extremely high volume of traffic today with many Christmas shoppers headed to the Vintage Faire Mall behind us.

Old Glory rose above the flags of each branch of the Armed Forces and I stood proudly with my signs “Land of the Free - Because of the Brave” and “Thank You Troops.”

Hopefully, our presence will inspire those who passed by to give some thought to those serving away from home and prayers will be offered up for protection during their deployment.

No pics from today’s adventure, just rest comfortably in the knowledge the someone was there to proclaim the message of Support Our Troops and LOTS of honking horns and waves from the passersb-by.

Thanks from the Olney Gang. As you know, it’s the least we can do for the troops.

From the dhue’s post, YES, Santa is on our side and the pinkos hate it. Maybe that is why our side is always so cheerful, even when “Little Bull Horn” is about.

Thanks for taking the time out from your busy Christmas schedule. You are right, being out there inspires others, including FReepers.

Who were the other two with you, FReepers?

One of the guys was FReeper LarryA. He told me Sat that he hasn't logged on to FR in quite a while. Larry's a Marine, our other guy, Richard, served USMC and retired US Army. Me, I am/was a squid.

Thanks for your encouraging words.

Great pics and AAR as usual! Merry Christmas, Santa! Way to go, supporting our troops! Great job FReepers. Wishing you and your families all a very Merry Christmas. Getting out there for the Westminster FReep/GOE Rallies has changed our lives for the better. We have always supported the troops but we are now taking action. We have enjoyed meeting such wonderful people and participating in such a worthy cause.

We wish all of our brave troops and their families a very Merry Christmas and Happy New Year! Without your many sacrifices, we would not be able to enjoy the many freedoms that we have here in the USA. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. We are forever grateful as we pray for your safe return home. We support you because you support us. God Bless you all!
