Hillary will never do that. She’s too smart to team up the first woman with the first black. My predeiction is she’ll choose Richardson for the Hispanic vote. Hillary is goin' down big time. If she can't win in New Hampshire, which is next to the New York media market - stick a fork in her campaign - she's done. Hillary will be going for the brokered convention approach. Her super delegates will stop an Obama win and the RATS will be forced to accept Hillary as the nominee or else the Clinton machine destroys Obama.

This brokering and the use of super delegates is only valid when the public is split in many directions and, amidst the confusion, back room maneuvering can go underneath the radar. Too late for that now.

I agree. It is a myth that the super-delegates are truly independent agents that can thwart the will of their state parties. That is a stunt that would get them removed from their party posts and, in this case, tagged as racists.

If Obama wins the primaries of the majority of the states (including a majority of the large states) and is the clear favorite of Democratic primary voters the super-delegates will prevail upon Hillary to withdraw and support Obama.

The Democrats want the White House back so badly you will be amazed at how quickly they unite behind one candidate.

This fight will probably not last past April.

I expect to see a snoozer of a Democratic Convention.

The Republican convention, on the other hand, is shaping up to be a total circus with a brokered convention a very real possibility. I haven't heard this suggestion yet, but if I were a Republican in a conservative state I would consider supporting the "uncommitted" line, effectively relying upon the good judgment of those delegates at crunch time.

I remember when Halle Berry won an Oscar, and she said on stage she was "black" this and "black" that.

I wondered how her mom (who is white) felt at that moment.

My neighbor's mom was white (German), and his dad an African-American.

He told me it was a "horrible struggle" to him in his upbringing because of the pressure of the "black community" to force him to disavow any aspect of his mother's race. He was ashamed of her.

He said only in later life did he realize how much pain and suffering he caused her by never wanted to acknowledge her.

I asked him what changed his mind, and he told me that he finally woke up and realized the "Black Community" were a bunch of self-hating jerks, and him mom was - his mother.
