Possession of plant matter now carries a death sentence.
Sure you wanna go there?

How do you know she didn't shoot herself? Maybe the boyfriend shot her. Maybe her neighbor shot her.
LOL. They admitted shooting her. And they are not going admit to anything that makes them look bad unless they have no other choice.

There’s no good side to this but I’m slow to blame the police for everything when someone dies.
Say what you wish but there is plenty of blame for all parties.
As for the Mother of the deceased; how long before she’ll be surrounded by the Rev’s Sharpton/Jackson screaming to the tops of their lungs, Police Brutality?
Money, lots of it, will bring silence.

"... claims by Ms. Wilson's family that police had raided the wrong house ...."
"... Marijuana and crack cocaine were found in the house ..."Oops.
"He denied police claims that Terry sold drugs from the house."
"Terry, who was convicted in 1994 on drug trafficking and weapons charges"
Oops, again.

It might not have been the best idea to storm the house when they knew infants were there? If the police made that rule, then ALL drug houses would find it beneficial to use infants as human shields. More infants would likely be harmed because more would be around the dangerous, violent drug houses.

Marijuana and crack cocaine were found in the house. If this mother of several was aware of drugs in the home then she is to blame.
So, just knowing about drugs merits the death penalty administered violently without a judge or jury - just shot by the cops with your child in your arms?
I am utterly without words.

well
Any time you get the government involved in protecting people from their own stupidity we can expect stuff like this

I know Lima well. We've got a manufacturing site there. Employ many and most are highly educated. Lima doesn't need a SWAT team, believe me. It's a way for the unionize police to pick up extra pay.
Put it to a referenda and see if the 40,000 person populace think it a good bargin. Particularly when babes in arms are shot. This is unconscionable; it proves they are not worthy of their armament.

This story points up two issues:
- The Drug War is a failure. End it now.
- The War on Poverty is a failure. End welfare to maybe put the economic fear into these welfare queens breeding like ants. If you are able bodied enough to have that many kids, or father them in the first place, then just maybe you are able bodied enough to get off your lazy ass and do some of those "jobs American's won't do".
Government isn't he answer to these problems. Government CREATED these problems.

Oh, now you believe the cops?
When they admit to doing something bad, you have to believe them. Otherwise they would never admit to it. See how that works?
To: microgood
No different than Waco, in my opinion. They could have picked this guy up off the street and then used a search warrant for the house.
Those bad-boy cops gotta have that adrenaline gush, though.

Being a user doesn’t prove that one is a dealer. Oops yourself.
Having a conviction 18 years ago doesn’t in and of itself prove guilt today. Oops again yourself.

"Ms. Wilson, the mother of six children, ages 1, 3, 4, 5, 6, and 8,"
Nine years. Six kids.
How many daddies? Any marriages?
"Police were there to arrest Ms. Wilson's boyfriend, Anthony Terry, 31, who was suspected of selling drugs from the house; he was arrested Friday night at the residence. Marijuana and crack cocaine were found in the house."
What a pathetic situation it was into which the decedent put those poor children.
To: Dead Corpse
I could not agree more. I am seriously in favor of allowing people to mess up their lives all by themselves.
They are clearly going to do it anyway, and as it is, I’m only paying for them to do it with government help now.
To: microgood
The cops involved with this murder should all be fired. Period. Sitting in your home and you’re gunned down by those who serve and protect. This crap has got to stop.
